  1. Yes it is. You do not have to be an NCT member to attend or run it! Jo
  2. I'm looking for someone to take over the Bumps n Babes group run at Goose Green Centre on a Monday afternoon. I have been running it for nearly a year but am moving away from the area so unfortunately won't be able to carry it on. It's a lovely little group suitable for newborn - 2/3years old. Held in the church hall, there are toys, soft mats and musicial instruments and there is access to a kitchen. If you are interested please contact me or come along tomorrow to chat and see the group - 1-3pm Goose Green Centre, St John's Church. Thanks, Jo
  3. A bit of snow doesn't stop us! If you can make it through the snow come and join us for some play, tea and biscuits from 1-3 on Monday afternoons at Goose Green Centre.
  4. Goose Green Bumps & Babes is moving to the afternoons from 1-3pm from January. It will be in the small hall but still offer a friendly, relaxed, drop-in environment for parentsto-be, new mums & dads and anyone with kids under 5 - all welcome! We ask for ?1 toward hall hire amd provide tea, coffee and biscuits. Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the new year. Jo & Gill
  5. Eerrrrrm, we've been here for six years, never had a bad experience in the vale. They've always welcomed our kids, and it's the only pub we have been able to find near by that shows rugby. Everyone knows rugby fans drink more and are more entertaining and nicer. Therefore rugby to stay! Looking forward to ales and new faces, new cooking. East dulwich already has quite a few self indulgent gastro pubs, that charge up for painting on plates, so keep up the proper food tag. Looking forward to coming back once you're open. And a few more rural ciders would not go amiss.
  6. Hi Caroline, To be honest it is aimed more at younger ones but we wouldn't want to turn anyone away. You are more than welcome to come along in a couple of weeks when we are back on and see what you think!
  7. Hi all, Just to let you know that Bumps & Babes will not be on next week, Monday 23rd July, due to the hall being in use. There are also a couple of dates in August the hall is not available - 6th and 27th, so there will be no session then. At the moment though it will be on on the other Mondays throughout the holidays. For those of you who haven't been to the group before it is in the Goose Green Centre (next to the church) on a Monday 10-12. It's a very relaxed, drop-in session so if little ones don't let you get there until 11 that's fine! It is ?1 and tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. There are toys, soft mats and musical instruments to keep babies and toddlers entertained and lots of friendly mums (& dads!) to chat to about all sorts. Hope to see you all soon, Jo, Amy & Gill
  8. Hi all, Our 4 year old daughter is starting reception at Goodrich in September and currently goes to Gumboots Commnunity Nursery. We were just wondering if anyone who also has a child starting in reception in September would be interested in meeting up over the summer so the kids get to know each other before school. Thanks Jo
  9. Hi, I can also recommend Rye Oak Children's Cente, particularly Leapers Sessions - used to be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but worth checking this hasn't changed as haven't been for a few months as back to work! Enjoy!
