Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Ruth Thomas and I am a 3rd year mature student on an Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare degree programme with Greenwich University. I am carrying out a research dissertation where I will be investigating the public?s perception of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and comparing it to that of canine professionals. This study will take an in-depth look at differences in opinion between the two groups and why they may exist. In particular, the role of the media and stereotyping will be investigated.
