if you call the pharmacy number direct, they will bring the prescription to one of the entrances , I did this today for my meds .

Thank you blah blah for thinking up this great idea . I came to help my 6 month pregnant daughter and her four young boys and have now had to go into lock down with them (in one room in a hostel where they are living ) I am on heart meds and she is on benefits and we have no vehicle , she is having to go out daily to try to source nappies as she has two of her children in them and basics such as potatoes , bread and milk and now the school are shut we are getting through a lot more things then we would if they were at school as you can imagine with four young kids.

I would just like to send out a big thank you to the wonderful family that helped out my daughter and grandsons with the very generous gift of wet wipes and nappies amongst other things , that my daughter has had real trouble in finding for her son who suffers with bowel problems , it really restores my faith in human kindness, so once again thank you !

My daughter can't find nappies for her son who has a bowel problem and wipes for that matter , she can't bulk buy as she and her kids are living hand to mouth as it is , its worrying the life out of me !

I suppose its all about personal choice , I don't feel safe in Peckham and would rather a decent Pie and Mash shop in LL .

I agree with Rumbero a good pie and mash shop , there is enough "arty farty" eateries on LL and who wants to venture into Peckham !

My husbands van was broken into last week , they obviously were professionals as his van was deadlocked ! Thankfully his van was parked backed up close to a wall so they couldn't steal very much through the six inch gap .

I booked a cab with forest hill cabs to take us , ?40 from door to door !

My vote would be for a good pie & mash place , it'll never happen , but one can live in hope lol

My daughter was knocked down by a speeding car on Barry Road just past the Underhill Road junction, she was thrown into the air onto the car (no charges were brought against the driver ) despite my daughter having to go to a head trauma hospital because of it ! Thankfully she made a full recovery .

Hi , I don't know if this is helpful to anyone ,but I used to work in Truly Scrumptious and we sold scotch pies and green frogs .

I'm a little bit miffed at this store , I just bought a four pack of diet coca cola , sat down to drink one at home at it didn't taste right , checked the date and was disgusted to see it said 31- January -2017 . I called the store and they played it down saying its probably just a misprint ! On another occasion I was buying a choose your own topping pizza and was shocked to see the girl making the pizza wasn't wearing gloves , her fingers were all over the base and she rearranged the ham using her hands , I mentioned it to her only to be told they don't wear gloves , I thought that was a basic hygiene requirement .

I personally think the OP did the right thing , I would want to know if this was my child and if more people stepped in rather than turning a blind eye then maybe the word would be a nicer place , Well done you !

A guy from there told me they were re-opening on march 16th selling indian food .

Just thought i'd mention Truly Scrumptious bakery , we make pretty decent coffee there (the handle kind) not a huge range but we do cappuccino, Americano ,lattes ,mochas and espresso . Most people that have tried our coffee have enjoyed it .

I saw this poor lady being shunted along and almost forced to get on a bus away from the area by one of the "beggars" , from what I could see he was telling her she would be arrested if she stayed . A shame really as I heard her play and it was very nice to hear.
