Police Misreporting Crime with support of Southwark Council
aloevera replied to JMK's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Shocking!!! I'm glad the topic is open, people need to know about it. Thanks JMK. -
I did question the price I was charged, as different from the price next to the tomatoes. I was given a refund but left feeling they had tried to rip me off ...

Did you check they were charging you the right price? I was charged the wrong price on tomatoes the last time I was there...Unsure if it was done on purpose or not, but I haven't returned since then.

I'm a mum looking to return to work but need recent working experience. Therefore, would you be interested in some free hours a week/month? I have a broad range of experience in finance as well as working as a bookkeeper for several local companies and using Xero. I'm currently pursuing AAT Level 4. Please let me know if you would be interested and can send you my CV.

Has the CPZ been suspended during lockdown? I haven't seen any inspectors down our road since lockdown started. I used to see them on a daily basis.

You should report. Nevertheless, I have reported the same household about 20 times and police don't seem to bother... I don't see the point of some people stopping their social life, while other selfish people don't care about the spread of the virus, keeping everybody in a long lasting lockdown. Let's see how many more people has to die, it is very worrying...

Sadly, many people that suddenly have a zero income due to the crisis, don't qualify for this help as they don't fall in the following category: "be receiving one of these benefits: -Universal Credit including the personal allowance element -Income Support -Jobseeker's Allowance (income based) -Employment Support Allowance (income based) -Guaranteed Pension Credit." -

I would like this situation to finish as soon as possible, but the only solution seems to be a "nanny police" like in other countries, because some adults behave like children...Sadly, I can't remember the last time I have seen a police van/car...
