Heber P&F

We have had a busy term at Heber P&F! This is to say thank you and well done to all the adults and children who ran in the Fun Run, despite the terrible weather on the day. A fantastic ?4,600 was raised in total. This will be going towards the cost of the new music room, new music education software and a set of djembe drums. Thank you to the fabulous volunteer force, and also to our corporate sponsors Winkworth, Mirash resturant, Ultimate Discount Heating, Dulwich Physio, Vale Practice, SE22 magazine and High Vibe. The big one is on 30 June - the Summer Fair. Please save the date! All the local community welcome.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported the Heber Boot Sale on 13 May. It was great to see the local community out in force buying and selling. Last year our focus was on buying new books for the school. This year we are supporting the school in creating a music room. We are contributing to the costs of the refit, and also purchasing musical instruments for the children to use. We want them to get the most out of the new room and our dedicated music teacher! We are delighted to report that the event raised ?1,200. Thank you to the volunteer helpers, and also to Daisy Lets, our sponsor for this event. Finally well done to the Year 6 stall - ?77 raised for their chosen charity Leukaemia Research.

Heber Primary School Parents & Friends are holding the annual Car Boot Sale at the school this coming Sunday morning between 9.30am and 1pm. It's just 50p to get in to the car boot sale (kids go free). There will be loads of fantastic bargains to snap up and delicious refreshments to enjoy at the cafe. Come and enjoy a sunny morning raising money for the kids of Heber School. Hope to see you there!
