  1. I'm giving away these two traditional column radiators. Good working order. I don't have wall brackets. Long radiator: Length (inlet to inlet): 153cm Height: 30cm Depth: 7cm Short one: Length (inlet to inlet): 84cm Height: 60cm Depth: 10cm
  2. Dropping the price of this collection of Nerf guns to £25.
  3. I'm selling these two traditional column radiators. Good working order. I don't have wall brackets. £10 each Long radiator: Length (inlet to inlet): 153cm Height: 30cm Depth: 7cm Short one: Length (inlet to inlet): 84cm Height: 60cm Depth: 10cm
  4. Kids have grown out of these so I'm listing them on here. The Fortnite one takes batteries and is pretty cool. If I can find the box with all the Nerf bullets then I'll throw that in (but struggling to locate atm).
  5. I told my insurance where it was, thanks to Banzai's original post, and they sent a third party company to collect it and assess 'market value' and make an offer. I assumed, wrongly, I'd get what I paid for it. Thanks for you sympathy stepdown. I guess it could be worse... I could be a Thomas Cook employee!
  6. This was mine. Stolen while I was on holiday. My insurance company removed and disposed of it, but the extortionate excess meant not worth claiming and now I'm high risk in their eyes, so... double victim. I'm seriously considering moving out of ED after years of 'low level' thefts and vandalism.
  7. Last night thieves nicked my scooter wing-mirror. Apart from being a depressing start to this morning, it's also expensive to replace and dangerous to drive in rush hour. This is another in a long list of thefts from my bike. Mainly fuel - lost track of how many times it's been drained - but also bodywork theft. I'm interested hear of other experiences of low level crime. Any solution or do we just put up with it.
  8. I second Jah Lush - i was also woken at 4.45am - super loud today - like they were landing on lordship lane or something
  9. Residents in Landells Road should have received a letter from the council asking for comments/ support or rejection on the proposal to install a static metal cycle hanger outside number 158. The hanger will house 6 cycles and places will be rented on a first come first serve basis. The hanger will take up the space of approx 1/2 car length and will have double yellow lines to one side to allow cyclists to dismount, therefore taking up at least one car space. The hanger will open onto the pavement. The deadline for comments is early February so whether you support or oppose this hanger please complete the relevant forms and return them so that your comments can be noted.
  10. Petrol thieves are back. They ripped off panel on my Vespa and emptied the tank last night. Real pain in the backside. This must be the tenth time this has happened to me in 4 years living in ED.
  11. Bad EE reception. Had to ask them for a signal box. They hand them out free for contract customers.
