Guess it's an emotive subject for those who live nearby the venue but some of you come across as really small-minded. Jo (no connection to him, the venue, events) has been coming on here to represent his side and it's as if a little posse has ridden up with torches lit.

There's nothing like someone offering something a bit novel for the area to bring all the moaning minnies out. "It's too expensive", "ooh, the films aren't the latest..", "a postage fee? how dare they." Love the idea of occasional screenings in the park, great way to enjoy a classic in a lovely setting. Don't like the films? Think it's too expensive? Fine. But why feel the need to waste your life telling people on a forum? (yes, I now too fall into that category, thanks a bunch)

Dear MadWorld74, I think the "undue sarcasm" arose as a result of your undue sarcasm ("...it doesn't take a genius...") on a thread where people were rather innocently asking for advice on tampered machines. So it was probably due sarcasm. HTH

Mine was done (for the 2nd time this year) about 10 days ago. HSBC (excellent and speedy both times) called to say someone tried to use it in Germany (Germany seems to have come up on this thread a fair few times). (far too much use of the bracket in this post as well) I too have used the garage near the roundabout - but want to stress that I have no idea whether there's a link or not.
