we signed up a couple of weeks ago (as our old Vet it too far away now) and didn't think we would need their services so quickly! Had to get a quick appt after our dog fell and really hurt his leg - saw Amber last night and she was very professional, caring and informative. Really explained all our options and the stages we might need to consider if initial treatment doesn't work. Our other vet would always go for the last option, which involved x-rays, surgery etc i.e. ???. Yes, the cost is slightly more but I agree I would rather pay that if my dog is looked after well and less invasive treatment is considered first

the answer is yes, leave on low. Lived in Alaska for 4 years and the first winter we had the heating on the timer and were cold every night. Spoke with a local who told me that they all leave their heating on and turn thermo to 20c - that way you have a constant background heat, and not fighting to warm up a freezing flat. Worked a treat and we spent less on our fuel, so that is what we have down this year in ED

My husband was in the same situation 2 years ago and as a last resort went to see an acupuncturist (Grove Vale practice) and within 24 hours he said the relief from the pain was amazing. He eventually got an appt at Kings to see the physio and they gave him some exercises, but did say that the acupuncture was excellent for sciatica

Very impressed with First Direct - they called me on Sunday about the fraudulent withdrawals and told me to destroy my card. Got my replacement card yesterday :-) Will definitely not be using the ATMs on LL again

Just been done again - this time for ?800.00 cash withdrawls. I used the HSBC in LL last Thursday morning and that evening 2 withdrawls in Streatham and the next day ?600 at the Mayday Hospital in Croydon.
