  5. Kathryn im pretty sure that southwark will financially support this has they have in the past,if you are at the next wi meeting it would be great if you discussed it.I will hopefully get a reply from southwark and petition our local community council
  6. There was a lovely stall at the fair yesterday selling ED cloth bags, then i started chatting to a resident who told me that dulwich not ED and nunhead already have cloth bags, with dulwich and nunhead logos that were distribuited by their local community using southwark money.I spoke to and emailed the council today about ED cloth bags and they said they would let me know,if any of you guys have time can you email southwark through their website, recycling page and ask about ED bags and to go about getting them.Im thinking about petitioning our local community council at their next meeting, anyone want to help, let me and il give you the details, two lovely ladies who baked for the WI on sunday expressed interest,so if you want to help get this up,let me know here.

I lived in nunhead for a few years, before i sold up and bought a house in norwood, could not afford the houses in nunhead but made some money on the flat sale.Nunhead is a lovely place and the traders are trying to build up a real sense of community. The nuns head is owned by the same guys from the gowlett pub, another great se15 pub.

  20. NTC is very productive and a great support for expectant mums and dads.If you can find one get into it and use it because you will find the classes helpful for every step of the pregnancy,be it for mum or dad.
  21. Lol Bawdy, having read this topic and fully agreeing with all you have said, the traders are going to look at cloth bags as a community project. Most shops encourage the use of recycled bags if the customer has not brought their own.its desperate when you walk into a shop and they give you a bag for 1 item,i know there are shops in LL that do this, and they will be asked not too do this.

Tom darling italy have the finest foods ranging from the delectable pheasant in tuscany to the delicious fish and seafood in Brindisi, hopefully you were only stereotyping when you mentioned cheese, panini and parma ham.;-)
