Well you can look at this in many ways. The person with the first compared to someone with a 2:1?They have both attended the same seminars have received the same information and have had the same assignments,(i speak in reference to the same course.)The first may have had the first because his grammar was correct or the delivery of information was put in a different way to the person with a 2:1.I think its unfair to say that a first sets you apart.Hoqw about experinces in life? The skills you have develpoed once graduated. The person with the first may have not practiced, whilst the person with the 21 has graduated and practiced, gaining experience and skills.Everyone has an opinion and this is mine, better stop ranting before this becomes irrelevant to the original thread and the administrator punishes me;-)
  4. Supreme creations who are ethical and deal with southwark currently.Their website is on my first post
  5. Ant you could be right, but i had to clarify that getting a first or second shouldnt set you apart because the level of study is the same.

Maxsharp, you sound very ambitious and good luck to you,but my understanding of physiotherapy is that you can only practice with a degree,so the fact that your graduates have a degree be it first class or second is standard. The fact they have a first means nothing, the fact i have a 2:1 in my degree does not indicate i know less then my peers who obtained a first.
  7. I have a first aid certificate,shall i brag about that
  8. Mighty the bags will be free not sold.Southwark will hopefully pay through the recycling scheme they have. They have already provided bags for nunhead and our neighbours in dulwich. We are using the same cloth bag company that southwark have used before,so hopefully they can negotiate a better deal for us.It will have the East Dulwich logo on it and it looks like at the moment that the gusset bag may be the choice bag. Please guys get all the edfites to vote asap because i need to speak to the company on friday and send the application in,with quotes.
  9. A lady i know told me her daughter was driving along when the assault happened, but this was outside Mrs Robinson, apparantly the postie would not let them have the bag and then chased them.3 guys on 1 guy mental.
  10. Snowboarder hopefully if the general consensus of the edf is a natural canvas bag with East dulwich on the front then im sure and hope everyone will agree.Hopefully lol
  11. The canvas shopper is the best option i agree.Hopefully we will have enough votes by friday to decide.I suggest going on to the website,we cant download all the images and if we have 4 to choose from with slightly different designs amybe it will help us decide

  20. Lovely grilled aubergine with a fennel salad, divine
  21. Few businesses in ED feel the same but there is not a lot you can do about other businesses opening up.Existing businesses reinvent themselves constantly.Unfortunately people do not do their research properly when they open up a business in a area, people presume we need more gifts, toys and nappies and physio. On the other hand again this is my opinion so please do not make too much of it.
  22. cotton or canvas, jute not practical beacuse the handles can be uncomfortable, but thats my opinion.I prefer to see what the general consensus is
  23. Following on from cloth bags,i have been given a great link to a company called supreme-creations.co.uk can the edfites have a look at the bags and vote on which bag you think may be the East Dulwich cloth bag. Then cast your vote on here. They are organic and fair trade and the prices look very competitive, which will make southwark smile.
  24. Madworld is your physiotherapist homebased or does he work from a therapy centre?
  25.
