Update on bags.I spoke to the lovely lady at supreme creations who will email me a quote on the canvas shopper with long handles and the gusset bag with long handles.She explained that the more colours involved the higgher the cost,so il be meeting up with the teachers on edf for chat about the design,the lady has suggested that they can use up to 3 colours and do some shading in.We all know kids love colouring,but if we can set them a challenge on designing a logo using East Dulwich in the logo with a couple of colours,hopefully that will be ok.Unless the teachers here or anyone else have any other suggestions,please post them.As long as the theme is East Dulwich, that is one of the important parts of this whole brilliant project.Any questions?

Bawdy nan thats correct and hopefully we will get the funding for this,plus we have the support of a local cllr.

More people are relying on using cards most of the time,what happened to good old fashioned cash.I rather pay in cash then card now because of all the fraudulant behaviour on credit and debit cards.

The scheme has set a date for applications to be submitted by july,nothing to do with me im afraid,thats why i said may be short on time although its a great idea,Im only talking to the council and the cloth bag makes The edf make the decisions.

Thanks asset. This forum is great because we can express our opinions freely(within reason and no slander).We live in a society where we can express ourselves,but once in a while we will hurt someone with our opinion,but it is our opinion and we can express it.

Ant you could be right,but i had to clarify that getting a first or second shouldnt set you apart because the level of study is the same.

Maxsharp,you sound very ambitious and good luck to you,but my understanding of physiotherapy is that you can only practice with a degree,so the fact that your graduates have a degree be it first class or second is standard.The fact they have a first means nothing,the fact i have a 2:1 in my degree does not indicate i know less then my peers who obtained a first.

Mighty the bags will be free not sold.Southwark will hopefully pay through the recycling scheme they have.They have already provided bags for nunhead and our neighbours in dulwich.We are using the same cloth bag company that southwark have used before,so hopefully they can negotiate a better deal for us.It will have the East Dulwich logo on it and it looks like at the moment that the gusset bag may be the choice bag.Please guys get all the edfites to vote asap because i need to speak to the company on friday and send the application in,with quotes.

A lady i know told me her daughter was driving along when the assault happened,but this was outside Mrs Robinson,apparantly the postie would not let them have the bag and then chased them.3 guys on 1 guy mental.
