What would be the point of that? It may work in a USA style mall where there’s maybe a single point of entry and armed security people. But here financially, it wouldn’t work.

They used to be clear dates when teachers could resign from permanent positions. now isn’t one of them. Any school receiving a sudden resignation at this time of the year wouldn’t be able to advertise andappoint a permanent member of staff by September. They would probably use agency staff.

There must be something written somewhere spelling out the purpose of them; if they’re not serving that purpose maybe the purpose should change. I’m interested, not because I have a business which I wish to advertise, but because I’ve seen noticeboards elsewhere that have a richer more reflective feel maybe a bit like a physical manifestation of the What’s on on section of this forum but more

Hmm I suppose it depends on the decision of whoever is ‘in charge’ of the noticeboards and the nbs expressed purpose.

It may be that the original purpose of the noticeboards could be changed to suit the changing needs of the ‘community’
