  1. The closing date from the survey is in two days.
  2. These are not really illustrated the problem with massive extended double yellows
  3. Poor thinking
  4. Bunds?
  5. as the new tree is so close to the felled tree your conclusion does not seem likely. but i would like to know what is the logic behind moving the vehicle entry point from the sensible forest hill rd location to the proposed one up by the girls school cutting through and damaging the park at great expense.
  6. Over the last couple of years the cost of stock has increased so you don’t get that great range of stationary for example. The glorious era of Pound shops may well be coming to an end. I did love it though when every single thing was £1
  7. there's always long queues at the Peckham branch.
  8. It’s not as good as the Peckham branch of course, but it’s okay. The staff are as pleasant to me as any of the chains on the street.
  9. The affection for that tree seems to be overriding the safety of that tree. it is the tree that children climb. It is also a tree that could fall down. Let’s hope the two things don’t coincide.
  10. That whole site should’ve been taken over by Southwark Council years ago.
  11. I’m sure that’s true. She is very protective. When I first saw her I couldn’t see the goslings and then they appeared from underneath her. Maybe there was a fourth, but it certainly wasn’t anywhere near the mother so that makes me think it had already been lost.
  12. Just to the right of where the goslings were there’s a tree on the lake side of the fence where I like to watch the mother and baby rats. It was there today I saw a dog. I was surprised by the nimble way this large dog jumped back over the fence.
  13. There were 3 about an hour ago. I had thought the area around the lake over the low fence was a no dog area.
  14. Aren’t these the same issues that were highlighted in the last newsletter?
  15. Did exactly that. Not structural as ceiling not supporting anything.
  16. There is a strong possibility that this tree is currently diseased, currently dangerous and has been earmarked for removal for quite some time. Could we be a little more logical and stop with the romanticising?
  17. Hopefully the confusion won’t lead to injury.
  18. I love Dawson’s Heights at night with the lights on I feel I’m on a Greek island with a ferry coming into port. .
  19. There was a notice on it. Someone has clearly removed it. Whether or not a tree is unsafe is not evidenced by buds but by experts who have examined the tree.
  20. Some very weird conspiracy type theories developing.
  21. . My post was considering the damage done to children climbing on diseased trees
  22. no, of course not, but that tree is dangerous and children do climb on it
  23. That tree was due to come down before the Gala. It’s now got a 15.02 date for removal. Good.
