So here’s my thinking farmers produce food, we all want food, we want food security and fair prices. So farmers with up to £3 million to pass on don’t pay inheritance tax. Sounds pretty good Let’s take landlords they provide homes, we all want homes, security and fair rents. The small landlord <£3m will be paying 40% inheritance tax. Providers of Food and Shelter should be considered equivalent
