What do you think? - Pressies by Pebbles
Clazza replied to pebbles's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi thanks so much for the gorgeous butterfly clock. It will make a little girl very happy at Christmas! -
Hi, if any of you are in the catchment area for the Honor Oak Medical Centre move there. They are fantastic operate an online booking system so you don't have to call and can book out of hours, although when you do call it is easy to get through and get an appt from the friendly receptionists. All of the doctors and nurses are great. Best practice I have ever been with.

Hi, Just wondered if anyone had any experience as they came in the highest on our place & wondering if it is too good to be true? Any feedback? Thanks

Are we asking too much from a babysitter?
Clazza replied to ryedalema's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I babysit & regularly play with the children, games, crafts , reading before bed, sometimes bath & maybe do dinner as well if it is an early start. No extra cost it's just part of an evening babysitting, I wouldn't do it if I didn't like children. I would never dream of doing a pay for view TV, just watch the normal one & bring a DVD with me if Sky isn't there. If daytime , then yes going to parks, swimming etc is all normal so is indoor & outdoor play. With a bit of an uplift from night time pay rates. So no you are so not expecting anything abnormal! -
if he's ok on Harry Potter you could look at the Maximum ride series by James Patterson.

my mum used to freeze them & always worked fine

Whilst I miss things about ED, moving to Brockley 2 years ago has been great. Much better transport East Line now means getting to Canary Wharf in 15-20 mins or else London Bridge. Nunhead gets you to Victoria or else on Thameslink to St Pancreas etc. Loads of choices.

Bluewater isn't really that scary. Avoid weekends if possible. Loads of parking. Nice & light/airy. Yes everything is under the one roof.

What's the going rate for a babysitter
Clazza replied to MrsMc's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I charge ?6.50 per hour & have my own car so no transport issues. -
Not much further away but hardly ever get any aircraft noise in Brockley. Much quieter than when I lived in ED.

It will be a leaking water main, it happened to me.Just call the water board as suggested 0800 714614. They paid for a company to pump the water out and put a dryer in, paid for electricity used by the dehumidifier and any items that were damaged. Good luck with the move, Brockley is lovely to live in.

I had my first boyfriend at 14 but it was just holding hands, going out with friends to cinema, bowling etc, a bit of kissing. Having always had a open, honest relationship with my parents & lots of trust. I never felt tempted to get more serious, we didn't stay over, or be around at one anothers houses without parents. Knew 'it' was illegal before 16 & actually waited until I was older & in a serious relationship. So all depends on your child & how you both feel.

you add the numbers e.g 2+3 = 5 & then multiply the answer by the first number so 5 x 2 = 10. So 9+7 = 16 & 16 x 9 = 144
