I was off work today and had the pleasure of a suspicious couple of blokes ringing my doorbell.When I answered all they asked was - Is this 2 flats? I replied why are you asking, they said they were looking for a friend who lived in a flat in the area and noticed two doorbells on the door. After askin them to leave, I watched them for a bit and they seemed to walk up and down underhill road looking at houses. Dialed 101, and they had no luck finding them. They definitely seemed dodgy, did anyone else notice them? White male in a grey hoodie, black male in a black coat, both Average build

Another burglary to add to the list...i was burgled on underhill road during the day today. Everyone double lock your doors! Very frustrating and upsetting.

Hi, Just seeing if anyone is able to help offer any advice. I have recently bought a Flat, it is the ground floor of a three story semi in ED. I'd like to build a small extension to the back in the near future, aproximately 3x4metres. I've noticed that no other properties on the street have had the same done. Does anyone know if I am likely to be able to get planning permission for such an extension. Thanks in advance

To the person who stole my window?can I have it back please?! ? I recently had a glazed timber window frame taken/stolen from the front of my house on Underhill Road.? This was left for me by my local carpenter out the front of my house. He is now in his 70s and has lived on Underhill for the majority of his life so probably wasn?t expecting it to be stolen from his long experience of the area. This may sound a bit na?ve, as the taker may have innocently thought it was destined for the tip, but it was up by the front door in my porch rather than at the end of the drive by the rubbish/road. It also had a clear note on it, implying that it was not rubbish and to be taken. ? This has left me with an awkward situation with my carpenter as I didn?t ask him to leave it unmanned at the front of my house.? If anyone has taken this, please can they? let me know, I understand if you thought it was up for grabs?but it wasn?t!!? besides it is a bespoke size and I doubt anyone else will find a good use for it.
