I also highly recommend Aria and his brother. (Phone:0773 973 4895) They came round and quickly and efficiently fixed a leaking kitchen sink - then swiftly came round today to fix another issue. Professional, friendly and a job well done. I will absolutely be calling them in future!

Agree with every other high recommendation for Knight & Sons Waste Removal! Paul's number is 07985 104 027 Paul came round same day - gave us a very reasonable quote to clear old decking boards and bags of rubbish. They were friendly, polite, professional and just great guys. Cleared as quickly as they came. We will definitely use them in future. I highly recommend.

Ideas of where to donate babygros/baby clothes?
Nix13 replied to lh1234's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi lh1234 - I was just about to post a similar question and saw yours! I also have baby clothes, maternity clothes, women's clothes all in near-new condition. I would also be most interested in knowing if there are any local women's shelters or family shelters (or similar) who might be able to use them? Thanks for any and all ideas! -

Hi everyone - Congratulations to the new babies! (Jane - you may have set a new record. Well done!) Unfortunately not going to be able to make it to Gardens this morning - realised my appointment for Bubs at King's is earlier than I thought! Hope to see you all next time. Nicole xx -

Hi! I agree - was great to catch up with everyone today. Good to know that we're all in it together - and be able to laugh about it! I'll hope to join you at the Gardens on Tuesday (11 a.m. works for us). I'll tell myself we have to leave at 9 in hopes that we'll be ready to walk out the door just ahead of 11...Charlie is very skilled at letting [insert unfavorable bodily function here] go at the most inopportune moments! See you soon. And best wishes to those whose babies are nearly here! Nicole x -

Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well. And congratulations to all the new deliveries!! Well, it's raining men... Our little fella, Charlie, was born on 7 March weighing in at 8 lb. 9 oz. He's been an angel - thank goodness as we were in the hospital a bit longer than expected. Home yesterday which was a nice Mother's Day treat. Look forward to seeing you all soon. And all the best to the new babies and those upcoming! Nicole xx -

Hi all! Emma - Would love to join you all on 22 Jan. Thanks for organising. Also, thanks for the info re: labor ward tours at King's! In a bit of a pregnancy-hormone induced panic, I phoned the Nightingale Birthing Unit to ask if they would still be having the tours at the end of Jan (which was the first date my husband and I would be able to go). The lady I spoke to said that yes, they would still be having the tours through January. But as you say, the plan is to stop them in the near future. Apparently, the NHS still has to notify all their staff, the public, etc. in advance of stopping the tours which would take some weeks. I guess they are moving to a "virtual tour" - where initially they will provide CD's on loan (goodness knows how that will work), then eventually post the virtual tour online. Anyway, thought I'd share that for what it's worth! Welcome to the newbies. And thanks Jane for organising the list! Look forward to seeing you all. And hope scans are going well! Nicole x -

Hi everyone! I fell off the radar for a while - had to lay low with risk of pre-term labor! All stabilized & okay now. Phew! I can't believe we're all so close! It has definitely flown by. I would love to join you all at Blue Mountain on Saturday if they can squeeze one more pregnant lady in? ;-) Really looking forward to seeing you all again. -Nicole xx -

Hello! Just an update from our scan on Tuesday. Baby is good and gear up for some more testosterone in the Spring Babies Club - it's a boy! He certainly wasn't shy - going to have to teach the fella some modesty before he comes into this world! See you all soon. Hope you're all well. Jo - I'm impressed with the mountaineering! Well done!
