  1. I wish I could make Thursday but I'm still working! :( I look forward to meeting you Sam and Lisa - our due dates are very close. A lot of the other girls are earlier. I'm 12th May. Hope to see you at another catch up. Cath congratulations to you hope you and the little one are well and happy. Alex xx
  2. Hi everyone - just to make sure that everyone knows this catch up is today at 3pm (it's not at the original time of 10.30am). I saw some people commenting not realising it had moved so thought it best to let you all know. Alex x
  3. I have a billet and love it. Agreed that it's super easy to clean literally takes about 10 seconds. And it does do ice - I put ice into my smoothies every single time as I like them nice and cool.
  4. Hi it's called a Babyliss Curl Pro I believe and I have one. They are amazing. Once you know how to use it, it's really easy and quick compared to a normal curling iron and the curls last really well and basically don't drop out. The trick is if you want looser curls set it on a lower number of seconds and put a bit more in each time and for tighter do the opposite. Also once done let them cool down properly to set them. I would recommend for sure! :)
  5. I will be there too girls. Look forward to seeing those I met last time and meeting the new faces. Have a great rest of the week! Alex X
  6. It sounds like a lot of people are keen on the 6th December morning in East Dulwich? I would love to be there for this too. Looking forward to meeting you all :)
  7. Thank you so much to all of you for all the great and valuable advice! So sorry I've not replied sooner, but didn't receive notifications and wasn't aware people had replied. It's all quite daunting getting it right with your first when you have no experience to fall back on, so thank you. bawdy-nan that's really interesting feedback and a nanny would indeed be a great option but as you say it all depends on finding a really good one and I imagine that's not easy. Where is Mrs Doubtfire when you need her?! :)
  8. Good morning, I am expecting my first and I've heard from some friends that you need to get your child/bump (!) registered for nursery schools asap as the waiting lists can be very long. It's so confusing trying to find out which are the 'best' and by that I mean those that really care for your little ones and they come home to you well and happy. Any advice on local nurseries in the North/East/West Dulwich or Herne Hill areas greatly appreciated. Thanks so much :)
  9. Hi there, I'm also Spring (May) and would love to meet some other local mums :)
