I had several bad experiences with DMC, the fact that I am not British they always made it difficult for me to get an appointment and only one (1) illness can be discussed with the doctor. Though I've been asking them for an extension (in person coz its either they never answer their phone or its always busy from 8am-9am so I just have to waste my time to go there) they never gave me but when my Brit bf phoned them in my behalf, they instantly gave the extension same as with the time I asked. Moreso, I have noticed that if the doctor is not white, they talked to me warmly and I could discuss my illness with them calmly. But if they are white, they talk to me quickly and in less than 5 minutes. They never even gave a solution to my illness and told me to wait for another schedule although I was already in pain. Only few white doctor/nurse treated me nicely there. Now I am in search of a new GP surgery which also opens on saturdays. I missed my old GP at Earls Court when I used to live there. Such a shame that East Dulwich doesnt have a clinic with good staffs and good Doctors like at Earls Court (near the tube stn). Until such time that I havent found a gp clinic suited for me, I will still have my check ups with them but if they dont treat me equally again, the "people in-charge" will deal with them accordingly.

An extra hand for a family is available this holiday (Dec.26-29). My two employers will be out of town for this time being and they would be happy if I could lend a hand to others while they are gone which means that they would be glad to give references. Hello there family! My name is Christine and I am looking for a 3-4 days a week job as a sole Nanny. I have been taking care of children for almost 19 years where currently I am with a family since November last year where i am taking care of a 22month old boy. I always set up home and outside activities for him and make sure that he will surely enjoy his days with me while learning. Respect to parents, playmates, other people and even to their toys are some of the teachings that I have always imparted with the children that i have taken care of. I do all of the tasks intended for the children including the preparation of healthy and good foods. I have several trainings with regards to First Aid and basic life support including child care. The latest family that I have been with for almost a year lives at Fulham Broadway. I need to search for a family who lives not very far and is easily to reach from where I live which is at East Dulwich. It always took me 1 1/2hour of travel in the morning just to get to Fulham and i think everybody knows how the transportation here in london. Moreso, as Olympics is fast approaching it will be harder and more difficult to travel there. Besides, I pretty much know the locality here so it is easier to set up activities and playdates with other children. I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and even Sundays (whichever you prefer) but will still be with the other family who lives near Denmark Hill on Wednesdays and Fridays.
