Is there a reason why my pretty straight forward posting, as to why Southwark Council issued an enforcement notice for removal of one of the mushrooms in the art festival, was removed from the forum. Are you now subject to censorship by the Council?

What is the matter with you, I was in Franklins and saw the same three local young people as gem80, they happened to be black, one of them wearing a hood they walked out of Bywater Street, passing William Rose's inexplicably boarded up shop, they must have remarked on the boards which one of them tapped. They crossed the road to the Pizza shop and bought some food. This whole situation is being made worse by a mass of information. Lordship Lane is peaceful.

I would recommend Avoriaz for the cheap accommodation as you will be paying a single supplement. Depending on your desire for comfort you can get a small shoe box self catering apartment meant for 2 but which is only suitable for 1 very cheaply out of half term times and it has the huge advantage that most of the apartments are ski in ski out. Learning to ski with much shorter and better equipment has never been easier.

The police station is the correct place to make allegations of serious criminal behaviour and not a forum like this. There seems to be a village gossip element that feels it is quite ok to make damaging allegations of, for example, food poisoning not backed up by medical analysis or in this case a sweeping allegation of an about to be committed fraud.

The main difference between 4 and 5 star premises is that the 5 star ones have all had an independent hygiene audit of their premises. This does not make them any cleaner than the 4 star premises and as can be seen from the lists above, it is something that is much more cost effective for multinationals than small independents.

Perhaps in the light of the swastikas on the shop in Lordship Lane the forumite who referred to its "jewish" property owner might care to reconsider his view that it was a harmless description
