  1. My son lost a black stunt scooter at Lettsom Gardens or Grove Hill Road on Saturday 14 Feb. Please get in touch if you?ve seen it. Thanks very much
  2. It's so hard when you're happy with your existing nursery, but I made the move to Heber for my youngest. I could not fault Heber nursery. My child was so happy there and the staff are wonderful. As previous posts say - far less turnover (none at all since I knew Heber), well trained, calm and caring staff. The activities they get up to are fantastic - have a look at 'Heber Early Years' @Heber_FS on Twitter to get a flavour for what they do. My experience is that resources (and belongings) are respected. I'd consider a closer commute twice a day is a big advantage, too :-)
  3. I found four similar looking keys on the pavement outside little Saisnbury's near The Plough on Saturday monring. I handed them in to Sainsbury's.
  4. I've been looking at this too, as we are about to get our kitchen done. Would be really interested in seeing the result. Also, if you could recommend any kitchen builders to get quotes on, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Gumboots Community Nursery in Crystal Palace Road turns 30 this year and we are having a party! We would love to get in touch with anyone who has been involved with the nursery over the years, particularly those who helped start it back in 1985. If you or someone you know has a link to Gumboots, or have any stories or photos of the nursery over the years, we would love to hear from you. Please send me a personal message via the forum. Many thanks, Kate

  7. Animoto is not too bad. Only 60 seconds per film for free, but you can buy packages that lets you make longer ones. It's an app that lets you do everything on your phone. Think you might be able to do stuff on the website too. Plus you can share with friends.
  8. Hi I'm having my hair cut tomorrow (Milo and Davis in Herne Hill have Parent and Child Mondays where you can take you babies/children along) but would love to join you another week. My baby was born in June. Hope you and babies are all doing well. Kate
  9. Hello, I have a two year old boy and am due 19/06. I've just finished work, so would love to meet up with some second time mums in the next couple of weeks. We could try a playgroup like Cheeky Cs or the park next week? I'm having Monday and Tuesday to myself while my son is at his chilminder's, so coffee would work on those (or other) dys, too. Kate
  10. Not saying it was the same thing, but almost every day I see similar looking vans drive slowly around these streets (I live close to you) and I think they're often looking for scrap. When we've put things out that we don't want, vans like this often take them. Did you have something that looked / looks like it might be scrap in your garden? Worth noting though.
  11. Thanks for all your comments - they're really helpful. I think we are thinking more along the lines of what Ole describes. We may or may not do more depending on demand. Have a great Easter weekend.
  12. I agree with the time poor / cash rich point. We want to do something around our families and don't fancy spending every weekend away from them. Which might well mean this isn't the business for us!
  13. Thanks for your comments - this is exactly the sort of stuff we want to hear, so keep them coming. I think we're aiming to be more of a mixture between Ocado or Hubbub, the EDF and Pinterest for parties rather than a Google. The difference being we take the hassle out of coming up with ideas, shopping for everything and deliver it to your door. Like the EDF or ED Tots, it's a place to go for ideas on a certain topic in your area. You can find ED info out on Google, but both of those sites add value eg honest reviews, great local tips, up-to-date info. Maybe it's more of a 'party in a box' where for ?x we deliver everything you need to throw a pirate party, a cooking party, a circus party etc. We'd also build up a list of tried and tested venues and entertainers etc But seriously, 'bunting gone mad' comments are genuinely useful, so please don't hold back - thanks :-)
