The guidance is to allow 6 months and 1 week to pass before you have your booster (third vaccine). You can go online to book your booster dose at the following NHS webpage https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/book-or-manage-a-booster-dose-of-the-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine/

Brown bin collection - Council starting to charge?
Dame Dulwich replied to slarti b's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Countrlass22: Similar situation to you, I also had the bin man yesterday reading me the riot act about how I had to subscribe or loose the bin. I told him it was a cheek imposing this policy which is against the government recommendations nd I rather loose the bin than play their scare tactic games. How Southwark council are imposing this with no thought of the long term consiqence to the service only for the point of making money becaue they have sold all their land to private investors with no long term revenue, and by failing to maintain their housing properties they are facing high compensation legal battles from thousands of residents. He repeatedly defended their decision but as I reminded him, this is the people at the top bringing this in yet its the guys on the front line who have to suffer the fall out effects. His defending example was that Thames Water done the same to all Southwark residents but as I said, water is a service each of us cannot live without. Which bin to put your garden waste in to on the other hand..... This is the most stupid idea they have come up with so far. What really do they think will happen? People will not pay and will bag all their garden waste and chucj ibn the green bin. Recycling rates will drop for the Borough. Over time they will have no choice but to reverse this decision. Another stupid money making scheme just like the controlled parking which is still ongoing! -
I misplaced my daughters stripy blanket on Tuesday 1 August during a trip to Peckham and returning to Dulwich. Please, if you have seen or have this stripy blanket please get in contact with me. It is a John Lewis blanket with repeated stripes of red, blue, yellow and green colours, framed in a red border. Thank you. X

I just wish there were more of us in society who actually took an interest in our surroundings and attempt to target the antisocial behaviour displayed by the trash!! -
Electoral role ( I am being removed from..)
Dame Dulwich replied to Jennys's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I also received this letter and had to send in a clear copy of my passport. Today Southwark have emailed me to confirm they have `added me` to the list... Amusing as i have been in this house for approx five years and voted during this time. I was asked to confirm online and I know this is where the error occurred as afterwards I would receive two of every letter related to this. Result: Dodgy gov.UK website!! Seek advice from a solicitor and inform Southwark you are taking legal action due to their shoddy works. You'll be amazed just how quickly they'll reply and remedy. Maybe you should all get together using this forum or maybe more effectively, a leaflet in residents doors system so all unsatisfied residents in the blocks group together for mass compensation. Arrange to meet in a community hall to discuss. Group force will definitely get you the works you expect.

mynamehere Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Are they driving down the street with a metal > detector in the van? Na - not quite that sophisticated. They just enter your front yard and root through all your stuff. Sure if they came across a metal detector they would not use it but shop it in!

I also spotted these today in Streatham. Religious reason possibly???

This theft of metal is going mad at the moment. This is happened to us on several occassions. We live off Lordship Lane and have left metal articles in our front shed, to come home and find the shed has been raided!! Now we cannot leave any of these things out the front, even though they are out of sight to passers by. This shows the offenders actually trespassed onto our property, raided our secluded shed and scavaged for anything to buy a bacon butty!! Be warned people. This is what is happening whilst you are at work!

Ha ha! You make me laugh.
