Haha. I like that Anna. Atila, your self confessed jibes just bore me and others. If you think pointing out that Rooney isn't on form or he likes shagging prostitutes is news you are a bit deluded.

We'll probably look as silly as Arsenal did when they threw away their Big lead in 1998-99. I'm not smug I was just saying I didn't understand your point. IRS a long way to the end of the season. Rooney is off form and has been for a while, that's not news, as usual we have other goalscorers in the team so it's no great worry. It'll just be a bonus when he gets a bit of form. We'll see, eh.

I wonder in what sense the 'Mancs' are 'not the team they were'. I mean I guess we haven't been unbeaten this far into a season for a long time. I guess we haven't been this many points in front with games in hand for a while but I don't get it. I suppose we'll have to wait for the footballing lesson from Arsenal, the same Arsenal we beat last month and the same Arsenal that's lost three games at home this season already and to the likes of Newcastle and WBA. ;)

Yes, sad news and one of the original Dulwich Paragon members and vice-president, Fred Robinson, died on Boxing Day too.

Seems like United are being handed the league. It is, of course, early days but I can't see past United drawing their way to the title. Great results from Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Spurs and Liverpool's troubles are just the icing on the cake. Sorry Anna and Keef but I'm sure the feeling would be the same were the roles reversed.

Those are two of the most hilarious posts I've seen on this thread. Thank you for heralding the Christmas period with such jollity. :))

The problem with sizing bikes is that each manufacturer and each style of bike has different geometry. There are usually fairly good ball park sizing guides on maker websites but it's best to get along to a shop and have them look at you on the bikes, make adjustments and get you to ride them to see how you feel.

That's a bit unfair Taper. The mid-top range bikes at Decathlon are good bikes. They come well equipped for the money. The only bikes to look at in Halfords are the Boardman range. I know Evans gets a bad rep and I don't like using them much but they can be useful to order in several bikes and try back-to-back, you'll have to put done a deposit but you aren't committed to anything. Second hand is always a bit hit and miss and unless you know what you are looking for it can be dicey. People don't look after their bikes very well on the whole and you can end up with soemthing that'll need a lot of parts changing in short time if it hasn't been looked after. As Taper says You won't go wrong with Specialized, Trek, Marin etc. I'd add Scott to that list. The most important thing is to get a bike that fits you properly!

I think you'll be waiting a looooong time.

That's a tricky game over and a good result for us, obviously. It was a good game all-in-all, with plenty of action. What Ronney was thinking about with this Jonny Wilkinson run-up I'll never know. Narnia, it wasn't just the pitch but those pesky defenders too!

Newcastle get rid of Hughton. What a disgrace! Sacked.

Erm, I wasn't online. Unlike you, I don't sit on here waiting to trot out the same tired old lines 24/7. In fact, I'm beginning to think you are a spambot. That would explain a lot. Also, what was grudging about it. I said they won fair and square and congratualted them. At this point, if it was Arsenal, you would probably be bleating on about how they bullied you into losing, or the weather was a bit cold for your boys. :)
