  1. Wow. ?35M for Carroll? I'm guessing that's how much he will be costing. Is that justified? Anna, do you think he's a good fit at the club?
  2. Amen.
  3. Oh Keef. I was waiting for that. Is that steam I see rising from SE London?
  4. Hilarious. Same old Atila....

Or do we ALL just make it up > as we go? Jeez Ah, Man Ure. One of my favourite of your clever little word plays. It's like Stephen Fry is on the forum. I didn't mention the regularity of penalties I mentioned the cheating of one of your players and the fact that the penalty taker took a stuttering run-up, as you would have done had the roles been reversed. Same old Arsenal....
  6. A couple of interesting observations from the Arsenal game yesterday. Firstly, the Bendtner goal. It was a nice touch that after all the shite he got for miss kicking what was a very difficult volley, on the full, he not only smiled about it but got the chance to have a bit of banter back with the Hudd fans after scoring. Secondly, what a dive! If that had of been a United player certain people on this forum would have been shooting steam out of their ears and bashing their keyboard until their fingers bled. Thirdly, that penalty run up. I'm sure there were also certain people on here who savaged Ronaldo for similar tactics with a stuttering (and possibly illegal) run-up.
  7. I don't care if you call us Man U. I guess that makes me fair weather too. Oh well.
  8. WH Brum was a great game. I think Birmingham deserved the win in the end. It was a great game for the neutral, as they say.
  9. I was sweating blood.
  10. I cried all three times I climbed the Galbier, it's a terrible restaurant.
  11. Try La Marmotte. Col du Glandon, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and a jaunt up Alpe d'Huez to finish :)
  12. Just get yourself down there Keef. Have a pint. It's a night away from the baby! ;)

Just the fact he spouts the same old bile that got him banned twice. And something about his son playing for Dulwich Hamlets that he drops in on occasion.

  16. All the refs on are the payroll Atila., you know that.
  17. Phew. Still unbeaten (because of bad ref decisions *yawn* ;)). Those are the sort of nights that can trip any club up and it looks like United showed some great grit and determination and Fergie had the balls to take off Rooney. Long may it continue!
  18. I'm not sure they have what it take to win the league MM. I think the squad isn't quite there yet. I wouldn't be suprised to see them come top four next season with a couple of good signings. The atmosphere on sunday was amazing and there's a real belief that the club hasn't had for a long while as far as I can see.
  19. He's an outstanding player. In fact the more I look at Spurs the more I like them. I hope they put a good run together until the end of the season and kick on for next.
  20. Yeah, I thought the Crouch thing was a bit odd. I'm a bit of a fan of Pav as well, I would have liked to have seen him coming on. You're right about the smaller (nippier) player. Those are the types that find Ferd and Vidic out I think. Not that he's small but look how Torres tormented Vidic, he can be turned a little too easily sometimes.
  21. Thanks Jah. As I said, I really enjoyed the Spurs game. The only disappointment and, I think, the reason that Spurs didn't win was that Bale disappeared a bit. If he'd have played us the way he played Inter we would have been in real trouble. As far as the sending off went I think it was a stupid first tackle and any defender who gets a booking that early has to be very, very careful as it only take one bad decision to get a second yellow. United's defending was superb which was a bonus (and it had to be). Tonight, for one time only I shall be cheering on Leeds. Shame Beckford isn't still playing for them ;).
  22. *yawn*
  23. Having just started a new job I thought I should leave posting on here for a few days. Can I just sum up what I would have posted: Spurs United was a good game, very entertaining. @Atila the Gooner *yawn*.
  24. *yawn* Are you a little sore that Arsenal couldn't get a result yesterday? If we are going to talk diving there's a long tradition of it from your boys. :) I thought United played well today. It was a bit of a dull game, which was a shame, but it could have been a banana skin what with Kenny's return etc. Glad to have got it out of the way.
  25. Erm, I thought it was a clever play on words. I didn't think she was 'siding' with me, in fact, with our history I doubt she ever would. How old are you?
