  1. *yawn*
  2. I'm not one for conspiracy theories but this has a nice symmetry.
  3. Surprise, surprise, the tag team are back. I've heard a lot worse, a lot more frequently, in the stands. Personally I think that Gerrard's assault on an innocent bloke in a bar brings the game into disrepute more but hey it's another chance to have a dig at United instead of praising them for an excellent come back. I think it was ill judged but he's a player with passion and the goals meant a lot to him and the team. He offered an immediate and unequivocal apology.
  4. All in all a good Saturday. :)
  5. I'd say the Rafael challenge wasn't quite as bad.
  6. It's a nasty challenge. Evans should have gone, straight red. I would say the Carragher challenge was only slightly worse in that he tackled the standing leg and you could say the Evans tackle was a bit more 50/50. I've got a link I can PM you if you like. It's not that bad to look at, certainly not in the league of the Ramsey challenge (which I've looked at again and still think was nasty but bad luck he got his leg broken). It's much more of a 50/50 ball to be won and Evans goes in with both feet off the ground.
  7. As I said. Nice try Atila.
  8. Having just seen a video of the tackle I'd say it was a certain red but both players went for a 50/50 ball and both had studs showing Evans a lot more so though and so deserved the red. I think the injury is just one of those unfortunate things, it could have been either player and it looks like Holden is out for six months with a knee injury which is a damn shame for the bloke.
  9. Erm, didn't Evans get sent off? I'm not sure the complaints were about the severity of the injury to Nani but the fact that Carragher made a dangerous challenge and went unpunished. That was certainly the angle I came at it from. Good stirring thought Atila.
  10. West Brom did us a favour today. I still think it's delaying the inevitable.

Yup, trophyless season for United this season. The run in is too tough for a team that ranges from ok one week to mediocre for the rest of the time. I suppose the FA Cup might be winnable if we get past City. I can't see Chelsea winning the European Cup though.
  12. Balotelli can't dress himself! Balotelli bib ballet!
  13. I don't know. I've got a feeling we might see Vidic and Ferdinand back for these games. Chelsea strikers aren't exactly on form either. I think it'll be interesting...
  14. The team has changed a hell of a lot since he was over here. With players like Bale and VdV on form I think you could give Real a good run for their money. Barca, as you say, is a different prospect. United Chelsea is one of those ties that could go either way!
  15. That's some Champions League draw. Spurs have to beat Real and possibly Barca to get to the final and United get Chelsea. Should be some cracking games.
  16. Ah Matt, doing your best to stir up trouble again. Well done....
  17. You're right Mick. At least someone has something nice to say about him on here.
  18. But at least he hasn't got cancer...
  19. ?30K and five matches in the stands for Sir Alex!
  20. Robbo has cancer. United and England legend. Get well soon.
  21. I'm glad I was wrong but we won't get much further playing like that. Injuries could be costly too. With all the ones at Arsenal as well it could be a war of attrition by the end of the season.
  22. I think we'll lose on away goals. 1-1.

Lordy, lordy its a miracle. Here we go again. You are a bit tedious Atila.
  25. Indeed Anna. Thanks for you kind words.
