I dunno ladynorwood. It's a common pattern in BrE, where you have a stress shift between noun and verb, think COMpress (noun) vs comPRESS (verb); REsearch (noun) vs reSEARCH (verb). This fits nicely into that. And it seems AmE speakers are just as confused about how it should be pronounced, so it's just one of those things I reckon. Although, going over and over, harASSment [charges] feels more natural than HArassment, so it's an odd bod.

I don't think it's vitriol, it's two parts frustration erm, probably another two parts distaste. He doesn't make me angry or hateful, he makes me depressed* I reckon we should get that Setphanie Roche as the new gaffer. At least the post match interviews would be less stomach churning. *pedro syndrome, everything good is my genius, everything bad is everyone else's fault

whilst we're on the subject, though its a bit late for this year. would it be advisable to put a 4 way extention on 5 amp plug for a 5 amp socket, and then plug a load of fairy lights into it?

:D fair enough. It was just something i'd never heard of in the lunches I got at work from the supermarket downstairs. It tasted nice with lots of tabasco. Turned out I'd be mispronouncing it for months in my head. yeah, superfoods i don't get. It's not going to counteract the harm from crying into your pinot grigio every night!!
