I liked it too, I manically consumed hammer productions as a boy, and always thought 80s gore, 90s psychological horror or noughties slick j-horror inspired fiilms lost something of the magic that hammer had in spades. So thrilled to see them return with that film. never saw the play but loved the book. It did have a few cheap scares, but did a good job of capturing the books immensely creepy atmosphere and period feel. Also vrey true to the hammer aesthetic. Radcliffe very good too frankly.

It was basically woman in black meets Ring. But a pity you didn't gel, some genuinely good, if a little clich?d scares there, proper goose bumps. As a horror fan though I thought they'd crafted a lovely atmosphere, and one look at la piba suggested it hit home as she physically sunk into her top to protect herself.

A new drama with Michael Palin, I thought, that'll be fun i thought. Holy god, anything that can make the Fall look brightly lit and cheery in comparison..... That said, I'll be stoking the fire up next week and carrying on with it.

What's the film where someone jumps out of nowhere and says 'ironyyyyy' in a really camp fashion? I keep finding myself doing this and can't for the life of me work out where I picked up this annoying habit. Did it this morning in the security check in at Dublin airport. Man was loudly and vocally berating people for not having their boarding passes ready or belts off or coats off or ipads out (it was a long queue, we got fifteen flavours of this rant bellowing out) as they got to the front. Then he got there and hadn't put his liquids in a bag, he got all flustered and i thought i did 'ironyyyy' in my head, but turns out it was out loud. If looks could have killed. The security staff then decided to go through his bag with a toothcomb just to annoy him too. Marvellous!!!

the self same man of two logins, buit yeah, probably the more appropriate one there. Crystal CLear still sounds like a dodgy skin product to me.

same here to the point where I'm mildly panicked about my lads on them despite never having heard of an actual incident in my life. Once again, permanently traumatised by a public information film. THIS is why the world has gone to hell in a handcart, NO FEAR!!!!!

For all the difference an England side would make...... But the FA is all about the money too so not holding my breath. But the IOC, whilst farrr from perfect, was once just as bad, so shows strides can be made.
