You could take him to a vet to see if he is microchipped to find out if he has an owner . -
I have considered this but he doesn't come into the garden on a regular basis so it's difficult to leave a trap out ,but wanted to find out if anyone knew him because of the way he was breathing . -
Thanks for the offer of scanning but he is always far enough away from me so he doesn't let me touch him but if he gets more friendly I will contact you for help scanning. I'm also not on the streets WhatsApp or facebook groups so if anyone could repost the picture of this cat on these groups would be helpful .

This cat has been coming to our garden recently and today he came round and I'm concerned as his breathing seems erratic where the sides of his chest are being sucked in more than they should when he takes a breath and think he needs a vet to look at him .He won't let me near him to touch him and wondered if anyone knew who owned him . We are at the top end of Upland Road .

I think what would help is if people that had drives actually used them so they don't take up valuable street parking for everyone who doesn't have that luxury.
