Dear Spymum, Thank you for giving me the chance to proffer the Horses perspective of ?Equus?, unfortunately / fortunately for me I haven't had the chance to see the production though I am aware of the film version. Frankly the thought of Potter sans kecks scares the living daylights. On a more general note, I don't think that Horses have had a fare rub of the artistic green, of course there's the obvious celebrations of the Equine, ?Nat' & Int' Velvet?, ?Follyfoot Farm?, John Constable and ?BB? but then there's the humiliation ?Mr Ed? (Old Timer, your card's marked), they actually fed the poor sod masses of peanut butter so that he'd 'talk' and then there's the violence, 'The Godfather' when Khartoum lost his head in the bed - no prosthetics in 72', they used a real severed head, the horror! The boy Radcliffe should beware, in the film ?Equus? his character was played by Peter Firth, despite playing opposite Dickie Burton his only claim to fame since then is that he's the fat bald one in 'Spooks'.
