  1. ?32 for a consultation.
  2. MP, Try the Volcano coffee round the corner from Nero in the ED Warehouse on Zenoria Street. No wandering the backstreets that way.
  3. Try Volcano coffee. Served in ED Warehouse, and Bambuni in Nunhead. And, it's supplied a local company in West Dulwich.
  4. Re attending the council meetings, any chance of sharing rides with other people?
  5. They no longer close at 445 pm. It's 4 pm now. Have arrived before they open to find a long queue in front of me. Numbers are available. Think you would need to get there at about 7 am to get an early spot.
  6. What is extremely attractive about Waitrose, beside the variety of products, is the very pleasant staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. It is a pleasure shopping there, when I do go, which isn't very often. The last one visited was the one on the Kings Road. I also like the fact that the staff are partners and share in the profits of the company.

Quite likely :) Yes you are missing the point. One updated page is the one with the mention of the doctor who has not been there since July. It has been updated, as I said, because Dr. Bhatia was previously on it and she left in November. The fact that Sonia Hall is still on it is very curious, as I said she hasn't worked there for years.

The OP asked for alcohol free drinks. Bitters are 45% ABV.
  9. Sue, It has been updated. The previous one had Dr. Bhatia on it. She left in November. As I said, Dr. Khalek hasn't been there since July. Sonia Hall hasn't been there for a good two years.
  10. If you look on the Melbourne Grove site here: http://www.mgmp.co.uk/about-us you will see a picture of a woman, Sonia Hall, who does not work at Melbourne Grove anymore. Yet her name is also listed as a staff member. There is also mention of Dr. Khalek, who has not worked there since last July. There is also a picture of him on another page. What is going on there??? Can't believe anything they say.
  11. Apparently they did used to have a number linked to a call centre in India. I know someone who used to work at DMC.
  12. TarahC, What happened to you is utterly shocking. When was this? Who is she? Please leave an account on the NHS Choices website and write to Sandra Connolly the practice manager, so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Sadly this account doesn't surprise me anymore.

Did you make a complaint to the practice manager? I would have pursued this to make sure this idiot didn't get to do this to anyone else.
  14. the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is Granty still there? The decline of Melbourne Grove started after Concordia took over. Why did you leave mr. e-dealer?
  15. the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is Granty still there? No, hasn't been there for ages. It is owned by Concordia now. Look at the website.
  16. the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Cant see what there is to object to a permanent > part time appointment its pretty common. I remember Dr. Ilves. He was there when I first joined. Was really sad when he left. I don't think a one day a week position can even be termed part-time. And he does not have a regular day per week, so hard to make an appointment in advance. That to me would be at least three days a week, which is what Dr. Johnson was down to before he retired.
  17. Dr. Jiwany is there one day a week, if that. Is that what Melbourne Grove call permanent. Is it? I asked and was told he was there one day a week! Why would Dr. Khalek be considered a permanent member of staff if he is not there. How is that possible? No reply was made to all the comments about the mostly terrible reception staff.
  18. I have just had a look on the NHS Choices website and it seems that 'the Melbourne Grove team' has deigned to reply to the first four complaints in a totally inadequate manner. They obviously ran out of steam after four obfuscating responses. I urge you to go and have a look.

False advertising. And as you can see the Concordia website was advertising for full and part time GPs almost a month ago, however the advert is still up.

That's not health care!!!!! It's therefore extremely odd that Cassius said he? was told by Dr. Arif that he was permanent. So now we have a ghost doctor there!

You can find out when and if he is there by calling the surgery and asking to make an appointment. Also write to email addresses to ask what their plans are for permanent GPs.
