  1. Maybe because there is water in Peckham Rye and Dulwich Parks it seems more acceptable and natural. I have seen a few swimming in the streams.
  2. Why not go to Brixton Village/Granville Arcade indoor market area. There are loads of places to eat and it's safe for kids to explore. Food places open for lunch about noon on Sunday.

  5. Karl at System Solutions in Blackwater Street could probably source you one. Also, the Apple store now does staggered credit if you decide you would like a new one and can't pay for the whole thing upfront. Have you looked on Ebay or Craigslist?
  6. He He, great minds think alike! Good luck.
  7. People turn up really early due to blood fasting tests and work reasons. That is why it is so busy in the morning. I have been in huge queue when I got there at 715 as well. It took at least 1.30 to be seen at that time. IF you can go later, ie 3 pm ish then you are most likely to get in straight away. It's also school picking up time so bound to less busy.
  8. Gosh, so sorry to hear this. I can't believe it is nearly 3 years since Jed died either. He and your Dad were a wonderful sight to behold.

  10. You could do a Money Claim online for the cost of repairing the trousers. Write a letter to the company and tell them that is what you are doing. Then do it. It might concentrate their mind after they receive the letter or the Money Claim. Do you have a legal advices helpline with your home insurance? Most of them provide it. If you do, give them a call and talk it through. Another thing to do is to call Consumer Direct. They take a note of your complaint, give advice and also pass on information to the relevant Trading Standards Department who can also take action.
  11. Why are you telling us this? Did it affect the freezers or refrigeration?
  12. I would always remove the entire green top once bought. And yes, you should store them in the veg. drawer without fruit. Same with celery. I do not keep tomatoes in the fridge though.

I didn't lose it - it's no. 15 on mine so why don't you retune from scratch and see what happens.
  14. Pretty sure they close at 345 now, so you have to get there by 330.

Pick and the Food Channel are quite new as well.
  17. Agree with henryb. If posting crime details makes someone think about not walking about with their expensive phone on show, or makes someone review their home security procedures, such as locking their downstairs windows, which apparently a lot of people do not do, then it's an important resource. Double locking their front and back doors is also something a lot of people do not do.

  19. Get a greyhound or any lurcher type dog. Lots out there who need rehoming.

  22. Thoughts of commission results in mouth frothing.
  23. Maybe show them some pictures of unbrushed teeth and say this is what happens if you don't brush. Or find a friendly canine with tartar who will oblige.
  24. Wave bye bye to any insurance money if you left your downstairs windows open or doors unlocked. Common sense people!
