Thankfully it wasn't people, just meister really, with a bit of support from basher.....off you go meister.
  2. AlexC, In North Dulwich, near Cafe Rouge, there is a shop called Cook which has 'special' things like that. It's all frozen so you have to go home right away and stick in freezer. Might be worth a look if you are in the area. There is also a nice little bakery there. Or maybe you cold learn to cook and do batchh cooking and freeze......

You all know it!! I have no idea what your business is, which you say is firmly established in the 'village' that doesn't exist. Wterstones? Why? so you can get 3 books for the twice of 3? Better to go on to Amazon to save money. Laithwaites Wine? Why? There are already 2 good wine stores here, plus supermarkets which also stock wine.

  6. Thankfully meister has been deactivated as Admin recognised that he/she was a troll.

If you look at > many products in Iceland, what they have in them > are not so healthy. So if you want peas, or beans what do you do? Frozen vegetables are usually fresher than 'fresh' stuff as it is frozen shortly after picking, same with fish. Fresh peas only have a short window of availability in the summer. Maybe you buy beans flown in from Kenya, or blueberries from Spain.

No one on here has said yet what they like about M&S food, no specifics anyway, and why it is so great that they need to have one here. UDT- cool factor in their clothes - does that apply to the undergarments as well?? And, do tell us where you buy your clothes..... I think most people in this country still buy their 'pants' don't they?

As Lulu said, young people or teens or whatever would have been used instead.

  11. FFS again. Youths.........means young men.

FFS - Maybe they might have been seen later, in the minutes afterwards, so yes their ethnicity would need to be mentioned.
  13. More food stalls, but not ones selling cupcakes. Queues too long at Jacks, so another hamburger/sausage one would have been welcome.
  14. Waitrose and a car park on Goose Green. Perfect.
  15. The point I was trying to make is that they still appear to have a lot of GPs if NHS Choices is correct. So why is there such a problem in getting an appointment. Wonder why the practice never answers the complaints on NHS Choices site either.
  16. Yes, of course. But still, 9 GPs, so now 6 with 3 locums. That is a lot more than Melbourne Grove.
  17. Maxxi, thanks for the link. Would love to know what his shop is.

So Nick, you have changed your mind since 22nd Feb on the Waitrose/M&s thread where you said you didn't want anything like that in ED.

East Dulwich is not Dulwich Village. Which shop is yours?
  20. On the NHS Choices website it says that DMC has 9 doctors, 8 female and 1 male. If this is true then what is going on?
  21. Oh no. How is the woman?

Of course I realise that > alternative locations or home delivery may not > suit some people as well as the local store, but > it's hardly the end of the world. Maybe people like to have a stroll around a shop and look to see what is on offer rather than ordering something for delivery. Iceland have offers that change regularly. I never buy anything like snacks or pizzas, but do like their choice of fish and vegetables, including oven chips. They often have good offers on fresh vegetables as well for example cauliflower priced much lower than Pretty in Northcross. I think the staff is very friendly and helpful in there. They regularly have excellent offers on Wyke Somerset Cheddar, and Somerset butter. What is so special about M&S. I have shopped there in the past, when working in the West End, but am now totally uninspired when I go there. If there was a choice between M&S or Waitrose I would choose Waitrose.
  23. There seems to have been a few robberies around Grove Vale/Oglander Road/ED station area. Maybe another good moment to urge people to put their phones away when walking away from the station until they get home. Am still startled by the amount of people I see chatting away or texting on their expensive phones while walking down the street.
  24. Also nearly impossible to park there if you do have one. No Asda near here. Lidl also in Peckham.
