  1. Aren't they supposed to be banned or deleted?
  2. Are signs of movement the same as signs of subsidence? Esp. if it is historical? Any surveyors out there?

  4. Stephen509, so people don't need their sleep on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights? Where do you live?
  5. 24 bus - Hampstead Heath, Parliament Hill NW3 side, nr. Royal Free Hospital, can pick up 24 nr. Westminster after changing from no. 12. Dulwich Park - you didn't mention that. Any bus up Lordhsip Lane will drop you off at the Libray, walk down Eynella Road.
  6. There used to be a house of ill-repute in Nutfield Road. On the shops side of the road.

Anyone suffering through this, go online and join the Consumer Action Group, CAG. They have a wealth of information and will provide lots of useful advice. What Ratpack has said about TEC is true. They always refuse an out-of-time application.
  8. What are the hours?

  10. Proms in the US are for high school students, not primary school ones. Junior prom, age 16-17, senior prom 17-18. Thankfully the one in the film Carrie, starring Sissy Spacek isn't typical! They are dances where the students dress formally, are picked up and given a corsage by their date/escort. I have never heard of a primary school prom!
  11. Had a friend who let her cat roam far and wide at night - she said it was because he wanted to? Oh, ok then. He came back one morning with a leg hanging off. It had to be amputated. She started to keep him in, after saying the same thing to me "Oh I can't keep him in, he needs to go out, he makes a fuss etc." He stopped fussing and yowling after a few days. She still has her cat.
  12. Awful. Terrifying. Can you keep your back door locked? I would ask the workmen to make sure one of them has key to side gate and doesn't leave it open, and that bring in everything they need at one time so as not to leave it unlocked.
  13. Boot sale? One nr. Sainsburys I believe.

Cats can be trained to stay in at night. Would you let your children roam around at night or whenever they wanted. I like cats, and have had quite a few, but seriously, people do need to keep them in more, for the health and safety of the cats.

Fox scat is very, very smelly and usually in small amounts. They also typically use it to mark certain areas. That wouldn't be street corners.

Or you could be like Green and Blue and engage with your customers? Not just waffle and obfuscate.
  17. Humungous Anthony Quinn posted their own false reviews. They got caught out. Thread taken down first.

It was actually more than one ex-employee.
  19. Parts of Nunhead run into Queens Road, so the crime rate would be higher there. There are also different parts of Peckham, despite all having SE15 postcodes, just like Nunhead does. Ondine and Oglander Road are both SE15 but they do not appear typically Peckham, whatever that may be, media hyping, Damilola Taylor's murder etc. If you step foot off Oglander Road onto Grove Vale you are then in SE22 and v. close to ED station.
  20. There is a man outside the shop in Atlantic Road who makes and sells them. There are two undercover places in Brixton Village. Also Sunday food market on Station Road.

Has anyone switched over to this on their mac? I just did and it is confusing me. For one thing, it appears to have stopped me being able upload pictures to the forum, although I can send them in email form. Or is that just a coincidence? Have reported to admin. I also appear to have lost my sent emails.

Could there also be a problem in attaching jpegs? I can't attach anything now, but could before yesterday? I get a bad error request after attaching and hitting post.
  23. I am having problems now, I attach a jpeg, and it waits for ages before giving me a message saying bad error request. never had a problem before.
  24. He did the mosaic floor outside Blue Mountain.
