The owner's name is Lisa. Yes, the coffee is expensive, but cakes are ace. The service is better than it was just after they opened. And, for the record, not everyone in there is white European looking.
There was a point last week when it definitely was not running very well at all. It resulted in a thread being taken down but it took a long time for that to happen. Do you know what I am talking about?
Can posters recommend companies that are not in ED or immediate areas? Are business allowed to keep 'mentioning' themselves as purveyors of services other posters are asking about. I thought this would fall under the one time mentioning your business, and thereafter you need to have people recommend you.

I know a woman with three beagles and she walks them off lead with their leads trailing so she can step on them if they try to get away from her. They are very wilful. I used to go to an obedience class with my first dog and the beagle there used to turn and go in the opposite direction to his owner when called.

It's not a yuppie/hipster phenomenon. Taking your kids to the pub is one thing. Letting them run around is another. I thought the licensing laws used to not allow children under a certain age (14). That was certainly the case in the Seventies. Then when separate dining areas were brought in younger children were allowed to go there but not in the main bar part. If kids were allowed in in those days then why did so many children have to sit outside in the car while the parents were inside?
I grew up in a house with a water softener. Our water came from a well. It was in the house when my parents bought it. Don't remember ever seeing any limescale. Am so fed up with the hard water in London.
