  1. Call the haematology dept. at St. Thomas's and explain what happened. They would have taken advice from one of their team if she had blood clots at the hospital. They should also offer to see her because she was treated there. Much better than going to A&E. Would also call Southwark PCT and report the GP.
  2. Am seeking information on behalf of a friend who is looking to buy in the area. Anyone on here live round there, and if so, what is it like?
  3. Wrong section to advertise in - there is a property section plus a wanted section.

I really want to know if white spirit > ignited will blow up CP Road? I did not know the other cheeses had already been purchased. I remember my mum serving a booze infused fondue once and I gagged at the smell. I usually prefer my wine in a glass.
  6. Just stick a whole brie in the oven and use that to dip your bits in. Other cheeses can be used. Google baked brie or camembert.

    Bipolar

I don't know much about it but knew one person who had it, although she called it having manic depression, the older name for it. Apparently there are two types - I and II. I do know anti-epilepsy drugs are now used for illnesses that they weren't originally devised for. There is a clinical psychologist called Kay Redfield Jamison who has it and has written some books on the subject. I read one of them - The Unquiet Mind - over ten years ago. The person I knew had a psychiatric nurse attached to the Maudsley as she lived in Camberwell. PaulK, you should be ashamed of yourself. Edited to add: I just googled Kay Redfield Jamison and there is lots about her.

    Cloves (whole)

Are they used mainly for bread sauce and mulled wine? I have an untouched jar.
  9. Syringing.
  10. Talisker.
  11. If it's today, have a mince pie and some mulled wine.
  12. Xmas?

    Puppy School

Rob the Dulwichdogman posts on here and he is very good with training and socialising.
  14. I think there is a local branch of WI (Women's Institute) somewhere in the area. Type it into the search box at upper right hand corner. There are also groups of 'crafty' people, knitters etc. People who like curries meet every so often and there is a thread on that. Am sure this thread will fill up with suggestions as various people see it.

What made you decide to get such a large dog?
  16. Latest is that 20 children are dead, and the rest are teachers, and the shooter and his mother, who was a teacher. Apparently he used his mother's guns!
  17. There aren't many cafes in Peckham, SE15 as opposed to ED, SE22.
  18. Rye Books served some at their anniversary party and it was very tasty. I asked how they made it and they said they hadn't made it but did not disclose the source.
  19. What is a 'normal' price for mulled wine, because I don't think it's what House of Tippler were charging last weekend.
  20. Agree with Jeremy. If she wants one, then she can earn the money and pay for it herself.
  21. Could this be double listed in the Lounge as well as here?
  22. Huguenot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Not sure what their religion has got to do with > this? I mentioned the religion because Keith Vaz did. Quite often Catholics go and see their priest, or another priest if the one they usually see isn't available, if they are upset about something, especially if they are feeling suicidal.

  24. Just heard an interview with Keith Vaz about this. He said he met with the family was told that she had not confided in any of them. For her not to confide in her husband seems unusual to me. Their religion is Catholic.

    Game birds

I would rather have a burger from Burger Bear Tom. Excellent burger from the Pexmas Christmas Fair. Sometimes he is to be found outside Flock and Herd Butchery in Bellenden Road. Holy F**k sauce is also available.
