  3. Very happy with kitchen (units and worktop, not appliances) via local Howdens. I can't compare with Magnet though.
  4. Hi we like Paradise cove, very close to Wandsworth Rd overground. Good atmosphere for eating in and always full when we've been (book ahead) https://www.paradisecoveldn.com/
  5. Taken to lost property office
  6. I left a yellow plastic bucket with apricots in it outside our house on Crystal Palace Road. I would appreciate it if the person who took it at 8.42pm this evening would return it. Only the apricots were on offer 😞
  7. Amanda did my hair/make up when I got married five years ago. Highly recommend her.
  8. Hi I sent a PM
  9. Hi a parcel for Kat Gee has been delivered to us - the address is ours so we don't know where to send it on to. Please get in touch with company its from and we will drop it round
  10. Another recommendation for Nico who came over quickly to sort out a blocked drain on a Saturday. Very helpful, friendly and reasonable charges. Would definitely use him again.
  11. My Aerial home in Sydenham? It's pricey but there is a cafe area for adults to hang out in whilst the kids have the party
  12. Is anyone else disappointed to see sprinkers being used on sports pitches by local private schools? In a drought. In the school holidays. I have contacted the schools directly but they have no plan to change this. Hopefully they will observe the hose pipe ban when it is inevitably enforced.
  13. This is a useful site for info https://www.newsonhealth.co.uk/resources/#factsheets
  14. We had a good experience with them delivering and collecting large peices of equipment
  15. Found on Crystal Palace Road. Please PM name to be reunited otherwise I will post back to NHS card center in a few days time
  16. Thanks for the recommendations!
  17. Hello, looking for recommendations for companies offering virtual kids parties please - for a ten year old. Thanks in advance...
  18. If you Google "questions asked at NHS admin interviews" you'll get some useful info. Confidentiality, data protection, diversity, the trust/hospital values and how you would deal with someone who is angry/wants to complain or asks for info about someone else. If I haven't been told, I ask who will be on the panel and try and find out about them. I often ask what the interviewers like about the dept/trust. Good luck!
  19. Pair of reading glasses found on Peckham Rye today (11.4.19) in the large field opposite Harris Boys school. PM if they're yours
  20. We have had some lovely times at different Featherdown farms - Warren farm has been the best so far but perhaps a bit further than you want to go. They have some in Kent/Sussex but we haven't stayed in any of these. Nethergong Camping is closer (east Kent) and you can camp/they have various glamping options. Not too far from the coast. For more traditional camping Rother Valley campsite is great and has a steam train close by which takes you to Bodium Castle. The ACP campsite in Alfriston is fab too, very child friendly and not far from the sea. Hope you find something suitable.
  21. Hi we use Michelle Benson and her team http://anypetsittingandwalking.co.uk/contact/ She lives locally, has a fairly small team. She and the team are sensible and experienced. We used to have set days but when my work situation changed we started to use a more ad hoc arrangement although I can give her several days' notice. In emergencies, she has been accommodating at short notice although we haven't had to do this often. I would give her a call and have a chat. The other thing to consider is the dog - they vary a lot in how long they can be left alone! We have ended up having to get a lot more walking than I anticipated as our dog gets anxious on her own. It is a substantial cost.
  22. "sitting still like a frog" - comes as a book and CD but some of the meditation exercises are free on various websites too.
  23. Saw a sign at the Rosendale saying there would be a garden party that day so I assume they will be showing the wedding.
  24. Reading eggs has gone down well with my 6yo daughter https://readingeggs.co.uk/
