  7. I'm with Natwest and have had my switch card cloned twice. The first time I'm convinced was when I used my card at the Texaco garage in Blackheath (now closed down)they managed to spend one thousand five hundred pounds over a weekend (in lots of off licences and restaurants), I had to wait 6 weeks to get this money back. The second time it was for about six hundred pounds...it really annoys me how much inconvience these little tealeafs put me through, various appointments at the bank, phone calls, lack of funds etc...still I'm over it...Happy Easter!
  8. Classic! :)
  9. I think it would be a great place to have a sports shop, all those kiddies playing footie on the Rye on a Saturday would be great passing trade...as would joggers, cyclists...I'll stop now I'm even boring myself ;-)

  18. Hi I stupidly got my keys out of my bag and left them on the seat of a no. 63 bus last night at approx 11:30pm at Peckam Rye. If anyone should find a set of keys (I was sitting on the top of the bus on the left hand side, front row seat) I would really appreciate it if you would contact me. Alternatively if you have any ideas as to the best way of finding lost property on the buses I would really appreciate the help. Many thanks. H
  19. People who preen their boyfriends/girlfriends in front of me on the bus, picking, scratching etc - yuck - for goodness sakes, leave them alone!
  20. Obviously the company was top notch but I'm not too sure about the food. The staff were great but I thought food wise there was room for improvement e.g. the dips to start with were very watery. My curry was ok but there was nothing tantalizingly exciting about it. Re: Washroom facilities, I must say I was rather scared. Upon going through the fire exit door the whole mood changed, you had to walk up a rickety very narrow wooden staircase with all paint hanging off the walls to arrive at loos that were definitely a throwback from the seventies?which is a shame as they didn't reflect the decor of the downstairs restaurant (where's Linda Barker when you need her). Anyways lovely to see you all, looking forward to the next one! x
  21. Excellent, I'll be there.
  22. Hi Bara I live in Barry Road (Rye end) and have a perfect picture on both analogue and digital channels on all my televisions. It's not much help to you but I thought I would let you know.
  23. I agree, I thought both yourself and Nikki Adams came across really well, it's ashame it was such a short debate.
