Hi I recently decided to look for a new job and have sent my CV to several agencies but I?m struggling to come to terms with the lack of response I?m currently receiving. Previously (OK so it was some 6 years ago), I used to send my CV to media recruitment agencies and they would call me within a couple of days asking to meet and register with them, now nothing. One recruiter wrote back last week advising me they were a boutique agency and that they wouldn?t be able to find me a suitable role and therefore there was no point in registering with them. I?m a PA so I was rather shocked to read this especially as the role I applied for matched all my skills. To cut a long story short, I wondered if there was anyone here who works in human resources/recruitment who would be willing to take a look at my CV and give me any feedback/tips as to where I could be going wrong please?
