    It's not a complete washout this summer for English sports fans, we have a little matter of the Boers coming over here for 4 test matches (cricket that is) starting on 10th July. This is reason enough, to spend more than the hour and three-quarters it takes to get a footie game over with, in the pub. Pretend, or maybe not, you're into the game and get an 8 hour a day beer pass.

    standing outside the CPT the other day, aving a cigarette. A couple of girls were walking past. They stopped to have a look at the sign saying NO this and that. One of them said 'right, so no one's allowed in there then'. And they carried on walking!!!!! 'Beggars can't be choosers' come to mind

    Used to say 'yes, no, but.....' or vice versa quite a lot and now really hate it when I hear those two words together.

    I could have been a follow-up to the filming they were doing in that building for 'To Buy Or Not To Buy' with that Cristian fella a month or so ago. They also filmed in the pub then as well as part of the program; Mari behind the bar was most chuffed.

    Mockers, can we not do nets in Dulwich Park? It's a wee bit nearer. Sorry for not playing last year but had to go to cricket. I think we need serious practice. I'll see if we can get catering again.

    Just having read the blurb at the beginning, I would be very happy if this Tory government we are under at the moment would ban the darn stuff. It is unsightly and uncouth.

    yip, been banned aswell, this is surely against our basic human rights. If we have nothing to do at work, is it better to twiddle ones thumbs and let ones mind go numb or think? Big Brother is out there, he needs placating.

    This is not a good thing at all. OK, direct action is sometimes the only way to make ones feelings known, but vandalism, I don't think, is the best way. They are here, nowt can be done about it.

    Maybe, it was just me then, I always felt there was a bit of an underlying something which I didn't like, but yeah I could bear it for a 2 or 3 pints.
