  1. Hi I have 3 adult firework tickets for sale for tomorrow night (Sat 1 Nov) at Dulwich Sports Club firework display. Face value £13.96 each. Event sold out. Many thanks Caroline
  2. Just seen this cat looking rather startled in Sunray Gardens. Can’t get close as keeping my dog in he dark as it were. May be perfectly at home/happy
  3. Hello fellow East Dulwich Forumers We are an ice company based in Lambeth (living in Southwark) supplying the catering industry. We are not clear if we are eligible for the Government grant for the retail, hospitality and leisure sector and it is impossible to contact anyone in the Borough Council to discuss. We would be grateful if anyone who is eligible for this grant (either Southwark or Lambeth)could let us know whether they have been contacted by the council yet as this will give us an indication of how far down the road the process has gone and whether we should have expected to have heard something by now. Many thanks. Keep safe. Very worried.
  4. My friend used to live in Camberwell Grove and her house was indeed used in the first series of Luther.
  5. Hello My son is doing his bronze Duke of Edinburgh and needs to do some volunteering for about an hour a week for 3 months. It has to be in the areas of helping people, the community or society, the environment or animals. Does anyone have a need and/or ideas? Many thanks Caroline
  6. Hi there I've come across this thread whilst looking for tutors/revision strategies etc. I appreciate this thread is quite old, but I wonder if someone (Collyflower?) might send me the details of homeschooling in the area please. I'm thinking my Year 7 child might be a candidate for this, so would like to do some research. Many thanks. Caroline
  7. Hi there I looking for someone who could sell some clothes (adult and kids) and toys on my behalf. I have taken a lot to charity, but still have about 3 or so bin liners of clothes with some quite good stuff in them (designer/branded). In addition I have a couple of boxes of toys, again with some quite good stuff in there - hexbug sets, loads of playmobile, bakugan sets etc. I also have lots of games/dvds. Is anyone interested in doing this for a cut of whatever is sold? You'd need to photograph and post from my house I suppose. Many thanks Caroline
  8. Does anyone known of anyone locally who might like to sell some stuff on ebay for me? It takes me ages to upload photos etc and I have 3 or 4 bags of boys clothes and 2 bags of women's clothes with some nice stuff in them. Happy to be guided by financial split. Otherwise happy to for someone to look at what's there and make an offer on all or selective things. Thanks Caroline
  9. Just in case anyone in any doubt still, there is definitely a bus lane camera in use on Dog Kennel Hill at turn off for Sainsburys - my husband got a ticket about 3 weeks ago.

This is a picture of the tabby my son saw in Dulwich Park today. Hope it proves to be useful.

My son and his friends have just rung me (6.00pm Fri) to tell me there is a tabby cat in Dulwich Park (near the playgound) that is friendly but looks lost. The cat fit this description. Anyone know of other relevant websites we could post this on?
  12. Fantastic news, I am so pleased. I've looked at Dogs Lost and it is definitely the dog I saw. How satisfying to see the full story as well. I'll know where to post if I ever see a lost dog again. Thanks for giving me feedback.
  13. .. he did look nervous. I now wish I'd stopped. There was a cyclist on the other side of the road coming to a stop towards the traffic lights who noticed him too and was looking at him. It half looked like the cyclist was going to cross the road to come to the dog, but didn't. I hope he (the dog) is reunited soon, if indeed it was the lost dog.
