  1. No broadband or phone since Monday 18 January 16.20. Anyone else experiencing the same around Landells Road?
  2. Caspar has just got home safe and sound, God knows where he's been and why he wasn't home for his breakfast this morning (1st time in 3 years), but he's back! Hopefully the one that the RSPCA picked up is equally safe and well, and will be reunited with his/her family soon! Thanks again for this.
  3. Thank you singalto. Our black cat has been missing since yesterday and we're waiting to hear back from the RSPCA, having seen your post and contacted them. His name is Caspar and he wears a red collar. If anyone has any more info please contact me.
  4. According to my neighbour (who's temporarily offered shelter) it's a female...
  5. A healthy-looking ginger cat has been going from door to door on our street for a few days. Looks well fed but no collar. Will probably end up taking him to the Neighbourhood Vet when it reopens unless someone recognises him (or indeed her)? See attached picture.

For what it's worth, I've noticed that the noisiest aircrafts by far are 747s. Since BA is still the world's largest operator of 747s, there is a good chance that a string of them will land in succession, especially early in the morning when most long-haul flights land. But as far as I know there is no rule as to what type of aircrafts land when. 787s and A380 are much quieter so the noise will reduce over time, as BA renews it's fleet.

Hopefully they will receive proper customer service training when Waitrose takes over.
  9. Sorry didn't mean to be rude. What's the fair point made though? I think I missed it?
  10. Is she still there? It was great to have her playing the accordion on Lordship Lane.
  11. Why a pointless statement ed_pete. Or am I missing the point? Can you clarify perhaps?
  12. I think you are having a sense of humour failure ed_pete.
  13. There are no plans to install a cycle hangar on Landells Road, according to Southwark's website (http://www.southwark.gov.uk/downloads/download/4144/cycle_hangars_proposed_location_maps). Explains why I didn't receive this maybe?
