  1. Try Wavelengths in Deptford - Google will find them. 10-15 minute drive from East Dulwich.
  2. permanently closed...
  3. If you can get there, then Wavelengths in Deptford is good. Gave up taking my daughter to PP due to constant changing of booking policy and never went near ED as swam there pre-daughter and hygiene pretty awful. Now go to Wavelengths and it's clean, easy to book in and never overrun, plus the changing rooms are next to the pool. Plenty of space weekday mornings for toddler swimming and at weekends you get the wave machine and spray. Only downside of the place is that the flumes seems to be permanently placed (plus you need to factor in parking costs - ?0.90 for one hour and ?1.80 for two hours. They have a gym and classes but haven't tried those yet. No affiliation etc...
  4. ED also features in the latest (Feb 2008) edition of Living Etc.
  5. It was from Gold Lee on East Dulwich Road. They've always been very good in the past so maybe I just caught them on a bad night.
  6. Last night I ordered Chinese food which was delivered promptly, well under the 30 minute estimate. It came to ?15.80 so I gave the chap ?17. My tip was based on the speed of delivery, not having had a chance to sample the food yet. Unfortunately the food was pretty terrible and I regretted paying anything at all - let alone a tip - regardless of how quick it was delivered. So what is the protocol in regard to tipping for takeaway deliveries? Do you tip? If so, how much?
  7. I thought it made for pretty painful viewing. Could Phil and Kirsty be the new Mick Fleetwood and Samantha Fox? Still, Edinburgh deserved to be number one.
  8. Maybe one of those is mine - I had my bin taken from outside my house on Dunstans Road a few weeks ago. However I contacted the Council and they provided another one pretty swiftly.
  9. A welcome addition to LL in my opinion.
  10. Can anyone recommend a decent day nursery in or around East Dulwich? I have a three month old daughter who we're hoping to put into nursery when she turns one. The few nurseries I've called already have 18 month+ waiting lists and I'm begining to get worried. It would be useful to find out daily rates too if possible. Thanks!
