  3. Hi, Thanks for that DulwichBorn&Bred. It's always nice to have multiple places to go to meet people and chat. Plus this page is also for Dads and so anyone from any of the surrounding postcodes too. The page I originally set up is actually a community which unfortunately won't let people post to the time line so I have now set up a group. Please feel free to add yourself - https://m.facebook.com/groups/1557654054446097?ref=bookmark Thanks x

    XC60 advise

I am looking purchasing an XC60 and it has an electronic handbreak. I don't have an issue with this but am wondering how any XC60 drivers find it? I am particularly interested in the fact that it automatically turns off when you push the accelerater is applied, how does this work on a steep hill? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  10. For the last few months I have been working under the umbrella of a phenomenal and global 2.8 billion dollar company, within the health & wellness industry. My sponsor, the person who introduced me to the company, is one of the top leaders within the UK and it was her and now my role to help people who would like to build an extra or replacement income of ?500 - ?3,000+ per month working flexibly, with the support of my team and myself. I'm looking for 3 types of people, 1) who are interested in earning ?200-?500 simply recommending our natural health product range. 2) people looking to earn ?500-?1,500 working with a team, mentoring and coaching them. 3) or people like me, looking for a 50k-100k per year, with all the trappings of a large blue chip company such as company car programme, worldwide travel and profit share helping me drive the company forward in a leadership role. There?s something for everyone, its really hard to explain in detail on an email, but if you would like to speak more about my business opportunity then PM me with what is the best number to get you on and the best time to call for a chat? Ta Suzie x
  11. Yes! My daughter (2yrs) woke up with it today. She has pooped about 5 time already and says her bottom is sore :( I do think there is something going round as I myself have a bit if an icky belly too today.
  12. Okay, so there are A LOT of adverts out there at the moment that are all telling you the same thing - work from home, make loads of money whilst only working part time hours etc etc. And you're prob thinking "I've heard that one before" and skip over them on your newsfeed! I don't blame you, I did for a long time too, because I was a big skeptic and just thought it sounded far too good to be true! Until one day curiosity got the better of me because I DID actually want all of those things the ads were promising - I wanted to stay at home with my beautiful children & watch them grow up myself, I wanted to earn FULL TIME WAGES whilst only working PART TIME HOURS around them, I wanted a life for my family that we could have only dreamed of! So I answered an advert just like this one myself, with every expectation to be disappointed that this was a scam or that I would have to stump up thousands to join a hair brain scheme! But what I actually got was a lovely lady (who has now become a good friend!) who gave me a little bit of information about the company, told me to go away and do as much research as I wanted to about the company, have a think if the opportunity was right for me or not & give her a call back a few days later! Well, I called her back straight away because she gave me some info on the company Forever Living, who have been around for 36 years, operate in 158 Countries are an honest & ethical company and have investors in people Gold award for their training & support! Not Forever Living again I hear you shout!! But in reality ask yourself this: how many builders or mechanics or beauticians or hairdressers do you know in your area? ALOT I'm guessing! In the whole of the UK, that's 62million people, we only have around 3500 people actively building a business with Forever Living, so not many at all really! What it actually means for me is: I will NEVER have to go back to a full time office job again! I will NEVER have to leave my kids at a nursery or with a childminder if I don't want to or at an after school club because I have to finish a full days work! I can be the Mum I have always wanted to be. It really can work for you too! All it takes is for you to drop me a private message and all I will do is share some information about the business with you and you can decided for yourself if it's right for you or not! NOW is the time. A year from now, you will wish you had started today! Suzie xx
  13. Why not organise a coffee and Cards event, or maybe cake and cards or Cabernet and cards ;) If you fancy arranging a get together with friends, family, playgroup mums, NCT group or any others then why not make it a bit different by having some beautiful cards and stationary for people to look at while there? I can either drop you a basket full of goodies to peruse along with brochures or I can come personally and show the products plus do a little raffle and even give you a demo on how to make gift bags with wrapping paper and sticky tape :) Plus if you hold an event You will receive a discount and a special 'host' gift :) I have a few spaces left this month so why not get in touch to arrange or with any questions you may have. Hope to hear from you soon. Suzie www.facebook.com/suziescards.co.uk www.suziescards.co.uk

  15. Thanks, I've emailed them
  16. Myself and a friend have lots and lots of unisex, baby girl clothes and new born boy clothes to sell and haven't really got the time to sort them in bundles to sell or to photograph all individually to sell so was thinking of doing an open house. Any thoughts? I would basically have a day where anyone can come and browse through the bits, all will be priced, and take what they want. Has anyone done this before? Does it work? Thanks Suzie
  17. Burger bear, I think as well as Mum2bes idea, which I think is fab, a soft play would be great and I would def like somewhere for my energetic 17 month old to run and climb. I too have often thought about setting one up and looked into coatings etc but it got put on the back burner as number 2 is due in a month or so. Def keep us posted!
  18. I guess I am finding that as I am due right on the cusp of both winter and spring clubs either people are working right up till I am due or will be off and meeting up lots before I finish work. I'll have a look at them both and see if it works with my days off. Convex do you work full time? How old is your little one? Thanks Suzie
  19. Hi ladies, I know there is a winter babies thread on here but I am more interested in meeting 2nd time mummy's due around the Same time as me, not sure if there is a thread for this but I can't see it when I search?.. My little girl is currently 14 months old and I would love to meet other mummy's for play dates and new baby talks. Thanks Suzie
  20. I have to return for 12 months!!! I think I may just take the enhanced pay and put any amount above statutory into a pot to cover the possibility if me not going back. I work Mondays and Fridays which makes it even more difficult as those are the most popular days for people to have off so trying to find a nanny share would be difficult. I too want to go back to 'keep my finger in the pie' as it were. In all honesty it's only for 6 months then my biggest is eligible for the 15 hours a week free which would then make nursery affordable. Decisions, decisions, decisions....
  21. It doesn't feel that way, looks like I won't be able to afford to go back to work. Just makes you realise how hard it is for working mums. Thanks for the info anyways.
  22. Hi all, I am currently pregnant and going on maternity leave early next year. I have a 14 month old baby girl currently in nursery but going back to work after a 2nd child and paying double the nursery fees just isn't feasible. I was wondering what an average childminder costs for 2 children under 3, 2 days a week for 10.5 hours a day. Basically I get a good maternity package from my work but only if I go back to work, if I don't end up going back I have to pay it all back. They need to know in the next few weeks if I want enhanced maternity or not and frankly I haven't got a clue if I can afford to go back?!?! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Suzie
  23. Mmmm some fab ideas there, thanks!
  24. Thanks, will have a look
