Next question is - do chickens fight? I mean if I get one from a posh farm and put it with one from the work house, will they sense their differences?

The fact that spelling seems to be such an issue does highlight the exclusivity of such forums. In reply to the OP, I'll be glad when oil runs low. Then out come all the new and inventive ways to manipulate wind, waves and solar electricity without the stink of fumes. Or as some conspiracy theorists have already mentioned - the plans for these vehicles are sitting in the safety boxes of compnies like Shell, and have been for years! Also, I would lend your ears to people like David Boyle and the New Economics Foundatinon - they have loads to say on money and how we view and value it. I mean, drop a ton of gold in the middle of a famine region with no infrastructure or transport and what can it do to help?

When I am not arguing the virtues of da yoof (the youth!), I happen to be writing a novel about them. Funnily enough the novel is all about aspiration; how a teenager can realise their goals within the complications of today's society. It's set on my street. I'm at the stage now where I could do with some helpful feedback. Would anyone be interested in meeting for a series off three book debates? I'd print you off sample chapters which I can post to you or email you a PDF. Then we can discuss them a week or so later. I would book a space and provide tea or coffee. You don't need to be an expert or anything, just completely honest and upfront about my writing and how I portray the characters. The first session would probably take place at the end of September. With the other two in October.
