Sorry to hear your story ad2000... Thats awful :( We are too, quite grateful we slept through it! We too got ONE of our cars back, and it takes a LONG while for things to feel normal in the house again! You can NEVER be too careful. xx

It is really scary when something like this happens... A year ago, our house got burgled at night, 4 of us asleep and didnt hear a thing, both cars stolen, jewelry (which was very sentimental and expensive) laptop, and ?300 cash :((( IT was so scary to find our door wide open in the morning knowing that there were strangers in our house, to this day it haunts us. You must DOUBLE LOCK at ALL times, and leave curtains shut. Get a timer ( you can pick one up cheap from homebase) and get the lights to come on as soon as it gets dark, it helps now its getting dark so early. IT has become like second nature to us now. Be Careful :)

Its all discusting, They police are being to 'soft' on these THUGS, they need to be more tough, Water canons and plastic bullets!!!!! What is wrong with the UK? Do you know that in US you can be shot for looting???? Words are beyond me with whats going on, Id love to us all gather together and give them all a bit of what they derserve, NO MERCY, just like they had no mercy for that poor innocent man who got shot by a rioter in Croydon :( We shouldnt be scared of these vile people, they feed on it!!!! :( it makes me so angry! The UK laws need to change BIG TIME!!!! Or this will be a regular occurence.

Hi everybody, Just want to urge everybody to try an stay strong, we shouldn't be scared of these yobs, don't let them know if you are afraid, they feed on it! They are stupid idiotic school children, would love to rob their homes and property, see how they would feel! It's so sad, yet the police are so gentle, God only knows why, even after an Innocent man had been killed, it still seems they are being 'careful' Words are beyond me x
