I'm glad there are sensible people on here who aren't prone to flights of fantasy like myself, as my first thought when I realised what was going on was 'aliens'! Note to self, must stop watching re-runs of the xfiles. pebbles, do let me know how you get on getting your car home. -
does anyone have any idea what's happening at the bottom of Barry Road now? There's 2police vans and a group of youths being questioned...

I guess it would be prudent to get home from work if your husband's employers don't mind. I'm on my way homes and the atmosphere is tense, I suspect it will only get worse the later the day goes on. lots of police cars en route to camberwell, new Kent road etc.
