  1. 3 drawers, hanging space. Approx 190cm high (can measure tomorrow). Solid pine throughout, one hinge needs replacing (photographed), but otherwise in good condition. Can deliver (no extra charge) locally, within 1-2 miles of East Dulwich station.
  2. Hi Melissa Thanks for posting about your refurbishment. We?re about to start a loft extension and hope to do a bigger project next year. Please can you pass me their contact details? Many thanks, Hannah
  3. Hi I think I've been conned by palacehero from this site. Do you have a way of contacting them? His mobile texted me this morning at 7.30am, but now his phone is off. His name is James Varcoe. Please could you advise? Many thanks, Hannah
  4. Hi Please make sure you vote by tomorrow for the parent governor election. Again, let me know if there's anything you would like to ask me about myself, or that you would like to tell me about Dog Kennel Hill School. Best wishes, Hannah
  5. Hi For those of you with children at Dog Kennel Hill School, I am running for the position of Parent Governor. Send me a message if you would like to know anything about me, having read my statement (you should have received it in your child's bookbag at the end of last week), or if you would like to make any comments or raise any issues. I can also be available after school on Tuesday in the playground if anyone would like to meet me. Remember to VOTE by taking your ballot papers to the school office by WEDNESDAY 22nd OCTOBER (next Wednesday). Many thanks, Hannah
  6. Love City mini! Sturdy yet lightweight, folds easily, adjusts seat height and straps easily- love it!
  7. Hi Keep forgetting to check this and missing out on all the fun! We actually didn't end up going to Bessemer School in the end, I'm wrangling with whether or not Jack has a nap at the moment (recently three), so he's often grumpy in afternoons either way. Does anyone fancy doing anything this Thursday, especially with toddlers? I'm open to timings and ideas! Hope you're all well and tongue ties are being resolved. It's amazing how prevalent it is, yet how much grief it ends up causing everyone because of poor diagnosis/care. I really feel for you and am amazed that some of you are managing to breastfeed inspite of it! Hannah xx
  8. Jack and I have decided to go to messy play at Bessemet school 1-3 today if anyone wants to come, X
  9. Hey Is anyone up for doing anything today, especially with toddlers? I have 3 year old boy Jack (birthday tomorrow! Scared about bday party on Saturday!) and obviously my 7week old, Natasha. Any ideas welcome! Hope you're all well, Hannah xx
  10. Ooh, Wed morning sounds like a great find! I can't do this week (whole host of appts this week!), but am definitely up for following Wednesday. I saw you heading for pilates last week, Anna, as I waited to enrol Jack on a swim course- some people arrived at 6.30am even though they only started scheduling places from 9! There are just too many kids in East Dulwich! Can't wait to meet up soon, Sal, xx
  11. Hi ladies I've been completely AWOL too, congratulations to all of the new mums and your babies!! I had baby Natasha two weeks late, at a whopping 9lb 7oz, but she thankfully took less than two hours to come out once induction finally worked. All a bit dramatic actually, with husband only just present and delivered by a midwife from the induction ward who doesn't normally deliver babies as no-one else was available! I seem to have been busy with visitors and catching up with other new mum friends, but really must be more sociable and also start the exercise regime too! Natasha was a really good baby the first three weeks, but the last two has been more typically grouchy and hard to settle in evenings. I'm particularly up for meeting others with toddlers on Wednesdays and Thursdays with my three year old Jack, as am also scared about managing two - particularly how to put both to bed when my husband travels in a fortnight!! Best go, husband's patience is waning.... Hpe you're all well, and hope to catch up soon, xxx
  12. Unfortunately the 'pamper lady' was up sick all night, so didn't want to infect us at all! People are still welcome to come over though. Anna, I'll pm you my details. Hope you feel better, bea, I know what you mean about harder second pregnancy- can't be too long now though. Just keep focused on the end goal, xx
  13. I would normally be very up for some swing action with little ones, especially on a Friday morning, but I've somehow got a delivery, a contractor and a health visitor appt all fitted in this Friday am and nursery Christmas party in the avo! Crazy time of year becomes ridiculous when you're preparing for baby!! Regarding Thurs night, I'll check with Angela if she's happy to come to mine just to do my nails, and then do other stuff if required on more adhoc basis as I know it's difficult to confirm. At the end of the day, I'll be at home anyway, and I'll just have mince pies and mulled wine on standby, just in case! (I'll blatantly consume the supplies if they're not used!!). Hope everyone is feeling as calm as possible given our various circumstances! Hope it's going well so far, new mums! X
  14. PS I meant to say that I'm on Copleston road, up near Avondale Road end, FYI.
  15. Hi ladies HUGE congrats on the baby girls and a glass of well-earned wine for the mums by Christmas, you lucky things! ;-) Does anyone want to come over to my house this THursday for a pamper session? I've got a lovely lady called Angela to come over (found her on the EDF), who does reasonably priced treatments - facials, mini-massages, pedis, manis, even waxing! I can't find her price list to hand, but I thought it was cheaper than salons. She'd like to know what people want in advance so that she can bring the right bits. I've used her for gel nails (like acrylic, but not as damaging for nails). I can lay on non-alcoholic mulled wine and minced pies (bought!), then would suggest that we order takeaway Italian from Il Mirto as they deliver, or I'm happy to go with a curry or whatever else people prefer. If it could be a 7.30 kick-off that would be great, so I can put Jack to bed before the doorbell goes. If some people want to come to mine and some want to still go to the pub instead I won't be offended! For those heavily pregnant or a bit under the weather, hopefully it's a bit more of a chilled option for you! If you can let me know on the thread or on pm ASAP that would be fantastic! Hope you're all well, ladies, really excited to start meeting babies! Hannah xx PS Christmas tree has just gone up, hurray!!
