And it has "all gone quiet over there", as one might say! And bizzarely everyone seems to be in a "post a new thread any thread quickly!" mood today! -

Not difficult to do the research, been on Kilroy boasting, been on Soho Stories, been on British sex, please feel free to check up on the internet, wasn't that hard to find it all, go on prove me wrong then if I'm talking Crap, and thats even before mentioning the newspapers! -

I'm sorry, but don't you have young kids at school? How the hell do they cope with their mother's relentless pursuit of fame and boasting about being a hooker on national tv, and the newspapers, I have looked on the internet and you have been on tv no less than 5 or 6 different programmes boasting about how clever you are, how much money you make and wouldn't for the life of you ever get a proper day job as your'e just way to clever for that and make way too much money! Prancing about naked, all I can think of about is your poor kids!! -
I don't think the decision to wait until you are older, settled, have a bit of money behind you and be in a stable relationship before you have children should be scorned either, some people want to live out their teenage lives then build a stable home before the onset of parenthood as opposed to have em young and THEN find somewhere to live, hopefully get a job/child care and hopefully if partner is still around, and hasn't decided he's too young to be a dad now, set up stable home and hopefully not on benefits. A child and then grandchildren are around for an awfully long time, basically the rest of your lives, so nothing wrong with waiting. But as Rosie said, horses for courses.

Sorry, I have to disagree with you, I worked for Southwark housing for 6 years, and teenagers who were pregnant definitely did go to the top of the housing list, which is why there is the current trend for teenage girls to get pregnant just in order to get a flat/home of their own, their positions moved up even higher if they managed to get their parents to give them a letter saying they were kicking them out onto the streets, although they did have to spend a period of time in a hostel, how is a few months in a hostel with a council flat at the end of it going to deter the more unresponsible of the teens? I am not for one moment suggesting your daughter did this in order to gain a home.

I overheard an argument today where a white woman called another white woman "white trash"! Erm... How the hell does that one figure in the intelligence ranks!! Especially as the woman (term used very loosely) was not black! It would have been perhaps slightly better if she'd called her "trailer trash" but then again we don't have trailers in London, just caravans whereby she probably would have called her a gypo! Confusing and I could'nt help loudly saying to the woman in question "wot a tw@t!" as I walked pass them! Getting all too Americanised if you ask me! And fogive me if I'm wrong, isn't "white trash" another term for "Chav"?

Falcon - Just middle class wannabes, you've just gone and made their day with that question! No in fact their whole year! Its Dulwich for goodness sake! SE London, LOL did you see the news about people changing the names of places by adding accents to it, the whole town had been up to it and taking part, while the Police tried to catch them. Was hilarious.

I have had enough of people who try and act like, speak like or pretend to be from a different ethnic group other than their original one. Why? Asian boys trying to speak like Yardies, instead of being proud of their sikh, hindu or other heritages, or even white women who go out with black men and then think because they have had mixed race children with their partners think it left some black in them! And try to speak like and act like something they are not, you never or very rarely get this with women when they are in mixed relationships with any other nationality i.e. Asian etc. Why can't people just be themselves and stop being so pretentious and obnoxious.

Your poor neighbours, thats all I can think, only slightly selfish of you, they will not only have to put up with the increased noise and smell, but they are also going to have to put up with the increased fox activity in your area because of the presence of chickens along with the extra fox poop which is really gonna make everyone happy about your decision to keep chickens in inner London? erm....why? so you can pat yourself on the back? And the dogs, no matter how tame and friendly, will eat them or find a way of getting at them if the foxes don't, kittens aren't food to dogs, chickens are. Sorry if I sound really blunt, but for the love of God!

Yeah, good luck with that!!! Have fun!

Thought I'd let you know that a few years ago I spent New Years day at Bhaktivedanta Manor Temple, (George Harrison's Hare Krishna Temple in Watford which is open every day to the public), was really chilled, they welcome you with open arms and feed you to boot, (although they do provide free food every Sunday), it was a serene experience, very chilled, people laid back and everything, got to join in a prayer session, got to walk round the mansion and the cow sheds, people from all walks of life were there and live there freely although they have to work the land and earn their keep in that way, a most tranquil and enlightenening experience, any suggestions to anything else unusual to do New Year? (apart from get plastered and go up to trafalgar square!)

What did you google? part of the lyrics or was there a special search engine you used? that would be handy to know, especially when you have a tune stuck in your head and can't name it. -

What about that song, ".... though I must confess, Number one was dull and number two is best, I wanna stay with you, my lucky number two, (then that god awful screech) aah oh aah oh! Ai, ai, ai ai ai ai". Sorry, title of song deludes me yet again, must be my age. Could be my number one by god knows who. -

Ok then how about putting a different spin on things, whats the worst song you have heard, Shaddupa your face - by some foreign fella (or someone pretending to be foreign) Save your love - Renee and Renata Need help with the next one, what was that song containing some of these lyrics, though not specifically in the correct order:- "I was so upset that I cried all the way to the chip shop.....if you wana two time me then its the end of you and me.....(someone or other).....is a moron......its not fair, yeah yeah....." please someone help me out because that has to be, apart from the above, one of the most lyrically challenged of songs of all time, though quite catchy tune. Ok, Ok I'll admit it, I loved it -

Personal favourites to Lizzy I am sure, maybe she should just have named thread "My favourite songs of all time", then wouldn't get catty comebacks -

Saying that you have been there done that so you must be the best qualified person to advise/counsel other people in relation to it, doesn't really cut it, that would be ok if you were applying to work for a drugs counselling bureau or something like that, you are trying to stand up as the average Joe on the street and represent people of all walks of life and I am sorry to say the majority of members of the public do not have a criminal record, let alone a past as colourful as yours. You can't expect people to look past that because hey now you regret it, of course you regret it, it is (although sometimes should not) now hampering your now chosen way of life, people are offered all sorts of choices and decisions to make in life, and they do not all (though I am not saying you are)use the well I was going through a bad time and because of that I did this, excuse. Many of us have real rough lives and how we deal or chose to deal with that is up to the person in question. I do believe people can redeem themselves though, and are allowed to make mistakes in life, like drugs, if it was only the once, (assuming it was only the once you smuggled drugs into the country and were unlucky enough to get caught your first time) then everyone is entitled to an error in judgement and can redeem themselves.
