Thanks Mick. Ill give them a call. There are BMW approved garages in terms of insurance - so if you need repairs doing under your insurance certain garages are authorised to repair BMW, Ford etc. So I think I am really looking for one of those, but Ill give Turners a call.

Hi I have just bought an old BMW from an independent dealer. The car comes with a short warranty on it and I wanted to get it checked over by someone used to maintaining BMW's to make sure it really is ok. BMW would do it but they charge a fortune. Can anyone recommend a garage where they have had their BMW serviced etc and which is reliable and honest. Many thanks.

Hi, I am a photographer and I really need your help. I am doing a shoot in Nunhead Cemetery (I have all the necessary permissions) tomorrow morning (Saturday 10th August) and my hair and make up artist has just cancelled. So I am looking for someone who can do red carpet style hair and make up for a couple of hours tomorrow morning. This is a non commissioned shoot so no one is being paid (the model is a well established local actress who is giving her time for free) but I can pay expenses, make sure you get images for your portfolio and of course give a credit wherever possible when they are published. You might also want to consider the McClaren XLR especially if you are planning on going for walks anywhere other than a pavement.
