This is the thing, right, I'd say a good two thirds of the people here consider themselves to be middle class (am not one of them and proud of it!) and most of them hate the idea/existence of it :)) which should give you some indication towards the responses so far. As if all the pubs around here haven't been ruined enough as it is! I hear the CPT isn't too bad.

Togawa Jun with her band Yapoo - Barbara Sexroid A funny, retro vid, with roots very much in the vein of V-cinema, great lyrics and just great overall really. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCdsAWzGdBQ -
Rolo Tomasi Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Yoshinori Sunahara - Pan Am: The Sounds of the > 70's This is a really good record, didn't expect to see that mentioned here. What next, people dropping classic tracks by The Pillows or Candies??? :))

Well, last post from me here for a good while, working on the blog now, and by the lack of interest in my posts, have bored you lot to death anyhow, I'm sure. Couldn't go without one last bit of news, a remake of R-Type I and II (but no Leo? for shame!) which has just been shown at the Tokyo Games Show http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/21983 Goodnight! :)-D -

Get your flash carts ready, what every right minded, discerning gamer has been waiting for will soon be out.. No way to play it legally, as Nin still has its head up its own anus. http://mother3.fobby.net/ -

For what it was, I thought Doom was pretty decent :)) Good to see you back in teh Gaming room btw Keef! Also, here is a youtube vid, essentially a compilation of shorts that have been available via Nins Japanese site: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=63Mcne5xHK4&feature=related Lots of goodness here: http://www.gamesradar.com/f/the-28-best-games-still-to-come-in-2008/a-20081006143228281085 But with the worlds economies all down the shitter, it will be interesting to see the difference between sales vs tracker stats :)) -

Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet: http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=20486 Think there was something similar at the MOMI some time ago. Also, anyone else heard the recent Final Fantasy remix album, including some tracks by The Black Mages to boot http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZi0RRVD5S4 Also, here's some Metroid Metal for those old school freaks out there.. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5PBB7m7X3EM&feature=related -

Top pictures here! I'd love to see a picture of Asset's cat squaring up against a (grey) squirrel! Haven't seen a red one for over a decade :( Hmm, crouching squirrel: http://hometown.aol.com/me2cl/images/crouchingsquirrel.jpg vs Street Fighter Kitty http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff87/nachosforever/Animals/shoryukenpunchkitty.jpg a mashup made in heaven! Maybe an unlockable character could be this badass muncher,... http://neatorama.cachefly.net/images/2008-02/squirrel-on-two-trees.jpg -
My vote goes to Bon3yard as her posts often make me want to go into the kitchen and is a very positive presence here :)-D

Sounds good, apart from the risible shop keeper attacking Wahlberg. I notice that Clock Tower, which as already had a Japanese movie based on it, is getting remade for the Western market. If you are into gaming movies (I've never been a fan, personally) do check out Sairen http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0494815/ I have never played the series, though Consolevania raved about it, but this is one hell of a movie, not sure if it ever got translated. I see that Tron is getting a sequel, should be interesting / or quite possibly absolutely tragic! Ever see "Reign over me" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490204/ ? I expected the worst, and only saw it as I read somewhere they used Shadow of the Colossus (never played that either, but know of its dev history) as a plot device, and had a right fight with the money because of the way it looked so low-rez on film, and was blown away by how good it was, and I only ever watch American movies made after '79 when the wife blackmails me into it. -
How come there is so much activity on the Flickr group, yet only 2 or 3 regular posters in this thread by the way? Anyhow, hope you lot post some shots here :)) Just found this, and loved it: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CnhRHlBOLvo&feature=related Also: http://bp3.blogger.com/_770_Q-_EPr4/SGQNWaiEx4I/AAAAAAAAAqU/2S7QbJkNusI/s1600-h/funny-img-010.jpg
